CAG Warhawk Night [TBD]

I should be there tonight. My Dad wants me to play Golf with him, but I should be back in time hopefully. I must be back I told him, since CAG nights are quite important to me.

Now just a minute. No zones? I refuse to play unless it is ONLY zones. In fact, we don't even need more than one map. Let's just do a 90-minute round on Valley Battle and call it a day.

One map, I enabled the APC.
 
Whoops, I guess I had the headset problem Mana was talking about. I didn't even realize because I could still hear everyone, but then I noticed the mic wasn't lighting up. I noticed it got unusually quiet during the dogfight, though.
 
Nice to come back and jump right into an early WH night :D

My headset wasn't working because I changed the settings to the EyeToy mic, and never switched it back.
God, can't believe FW 2.4 came out when I was gone. Oh well, hopefully it's back soon.

Just wanted to let you guys know I might not be able to host Saturday.

Also, I think it might be a good idea to not require the booster packs for Saturday games. I know there are a few players that don't get to play because of that (I'm thinking of GodlyOne, for one).

Yes please. I don't have the boosters and I would like to play on Saturday.
 
So what'd you think freaky? You did a decent job hosting last time I couldn't host on Saturday. Feel like hosting again this weekend? With NO booster maps so everyone can play.

The problem with that is not everyone can play Fridays, and others can't play early.

From now on, if I'm hosting, I won't require boosters on Saturday. It gives more people the chance to play, especially since my games last longer than the games on Friday.
I don't know how often I'll be able to host on Saturday, last time I was busy with my girl. I don't know if I'll be home before 10 tomorrow or not.

I've had fun hosting you guys, and I don't mind putting up the server on Saturday. It's going to fun. :)

Oh, and I take map/game mode requests too... ;)

No worries... I like the booster maps too, hell, I'm the one that first started hosting servers with them, it's just I know there are quite a few new guys, and some old, that don't have the boosters yet and I know how it feels to not be able to play with fellow CAGs, because of how difficult it is for me to be able to make it on Fridays, which is why I started doing the Saturday games.

Doing what you do on Friday is a good thing, but we've had so many new faces show up and I want them to get to have some fun games with fellow CAGs, so I figured I won't do boosters anymore when I host.

I should be able to make tomorrow night, no boosters = :) (I'm still waiting for people to share them with).

Does anyone use the eye for chat? how do you set that up? I just got the EOJ deal at walmart, and I'd much rather use that than the headset.

Although being on someones buddy list does make it easier to jump in.

I doubt it's better, but the headset isn't all that comfortable, and I haven't even gotten people to hear me successfully with the headset (haven't tried much either). Basically as long as people can understand what I'm saying and I can be a foot or two away from it I'll be using the eye.
 
I'd think that with the PS Eye you'd end up broadcasting a lot of the in-game sound effects unless you have them turned down, and then you'd end up sending other people's chatter since it would be coming out of the speakers. I guess you could try setting it up right next to you, though.
 
Mic issue got too irritating for me so I decided to skip the last DMs. Good games the rest of the night, though.

freaky, you can be my tank co-pilot any time! :D
