It's possible you have win the match by reaching the score limit...

I might "work" on the graphic (like I described earlier) for 'nives 'n 'nades this weekend if I have some time. If I actually do it and I think it looks decent I'll post it. I had a hard time finding a picture of the knife... I could find a good picture of the GGL knife, but I'm not using that. It wouldn't be one of the banner images like you make, just the 'nives 'n 'nades skull and crossbones.


Hey, TMK, what were you talking about when you asked Zen about a "double boost?" I wanted to ask during the game but my mic crapped out before then.

Oh man, when you said you didn't know how to boost I thought you meant double-tapping R2. That's why I was so surprised.

I took me a while to figure out you could power slide in a Warhawk, too. :oops: That used to be one of my favorite moves, but I find I never use it anymore after switching to pro flight. It just feels really weird now.

I got that one today - it took 3 matches before we got it done. I never managed to get to the dropship first so it was a pain. Some people insisted to fly the dropship around and get killed, and one guy from the other team kept hitting us with TOW missles :bomb: after a bit one guy was smart enough to stay on the round inthe home base and we got it.

Find a CTF game, hide the APC in thier homebase and you will get it no prob. The badlands map is a good place to hide in the APC.


And for the - Reckless Pilot - where you have to commit suicide in a Warhawk by running into your own Aerial Mine. Thats easy, go into hover mode, drop a mine and go backwards... stupid me does this all the time hahaha
 
TMK must just have something against me lol. Sends out invites to everyone else who asked except for me :hot:. Also ignores all my friend requests over the past few months for various other groups. I feel so left out :oldman:.

Anyways, I spent a good portion of the day playing today and my rank finally straightened out and I am back down where I belong. Actually managed to collect some trophies as well and am up to around 10% so far.

If anyone is going to on after 11:00 EST I would like to join in.

I'll be picking up the three boosters before tonight as well.
 
Last night was a blast. I enjoyed it so much I went and downloaded all the booster packs. Please invite me to the game tonight. It took me a good ten minutes to find the server last night. :)

lol, I have no idea - I bailed out after the trophy popped up. It had been a few mnutes since that one guy who was hitting us with the TOW had hit us... so he was due. After that I went and tried to get the 'nocs to take out the other dropship, but that did not work out that well for me hahaha.

But I can say I got MUCH better at using the turrets in the dropship. I looked at my stats before I tried to get that trophy and in my 300+ hours of gameplay I had only 14 minutes in a dropship. Still not a big fan of the dropship, but now I do not hate it as much as I did before. I think my next goal is killing a plane with my APC bubble.

I will hop on the PS3 in an hour or so and I will add you to my firneds list. When you are on my ist you can go to buddies in the Warhawk menu and find the game that way - thats the way I find it. You can also see about adding a few of us to your list to help you out more if I am late or whatever.

Or, you can just view all rooms by ABC order and find it that way - the name of the server is always posted here in the first post.

I'm about to pull my hair out, I've tried over and over again but still no success in getting that damned World Victory trophy. This is the most funniest/ridiculous thing that I'm the only one who can't get one of the most easiest trophies outta that list :lol:.

SoCal just said in the other thread that they didn't win by score limit... so who knows. He did do it on a ranked server... so maybe it triggers by getting the ribbon. If that's the case the stupid thing should be retro.:roll:

On Saturdays we usually play till at least 1am Eastern, so feel free to hop on later. I keep the server up as long as there are 4-6 people playing.
 
Haha, I remember why I love/hate achievements so much now. Anyways, looking forward to tonight's game (however many maps I can play since I'm booster pack-less at the moment). :p

What's the difference between Pro Flight and default?

The major difference is that the right stick controls your pitch and roll instead of doing the automatic barrel rolls and loops. Also you don't level out automatically so you can fly at all sorts of weird angles, or even upside-down if you want. It's hard switching over from normal but I'd say it's worth it with enough practice because it makes you more maneuverable. You can also scrub missiles while flying in roughly the same direction.
 
I'm going to try something tonight...
I'm going to set up the server as a clan server, but leave the clan name fields blank, to see if that'll unlock the clan trophy.
 
i think on freeky's screen, i appear as some sort of giant bobblehead toy cuz i'm like his no. 1 target. and i swear DD knifed me from 10 feet away in the first game.
 
Maybe it's a good idea to turn off my phone during Warhawk but it was funny seeing everyone staring up at me doing nothing in the concrete shelter :lol:.
Anyways, I had to quit early cause I'm needed somewhere. Fun games as always.

Let me just say, the ones who I just sent CAG invites to for the clan, are ones I DID see play a match. I haven't yet seen you play (while I'm in there, although it might have happened a while ago). Once I see you or DD83 mentions you were there, you get added. That explains how the clan invitation thing works. The only way slightly around that is (especially now that I can cancel an invite if needed) if I knew you VERY well from other online games and knew you were very committed. If you show up tonight, I'll send you an invite. :)

As for the friend requests, here's how it goes. Before the limit was upped, my friends list was constantly full. Every time I made room, within a few hours, I'd get friend requests to fill up my list again. I ended up removing over 50 people on my friends list before to make room. Ever since the limit increased, I've been getting a lot of friend requests, and I'm ALMOST maxed out right now. Because of this, I have to be a bit picky on who I add. I'll say that 50% or more of the friend requests I get on PSN, get denied. The main reason I was adding many at one point was because of CoD4 on PS3, because I've been in-charge of it and the only way to make it work is to have them on my buddy list (which takes up a chunk of my buddy list). So if someone doesn't own CoD4 (PS3) or another game where people have to be my buddy to get in. When I get a friend request usually, I check to see if they registered at the CAG PSN Gaming Group: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=149288

If they did not, chances of me accepting their request goes down REALLY low, unless I really know you well and know exactly what games you play (some friend requests get held for up to two weeks so I can make a decision). Since the CAG PSN Gaming thread is very important IMO (so I know what games you own and so on. It's especially important to me), someone signing up gives me a really good feeling and I feel more compelled to accept them on my friends list. But what it really comes down to, I try to see what games you own. If you own a few certain games I'm really close to (like for playing online), I'll most likely accept (unless you've been an extremely close friend to me on CAG for a while where we chat a lot, or someone I've become close to in various CAG nights). If I don't know what games you have (which was your case, all I know is Warhawk and SingStar) or there was some other issue (not with you thankfully), then I'll most likely deny. I just get so many friend requests and I really dislike having to sort through them all to see who fits well on my buddy list. Being picky is actually a good thing since for the most part, I've put together a great group of people who I see playing their PS3 a lot (there's usually 20-40+ people playing games at once). Overall, I just take the PSN buddy list thing very seriously where I even removed 3 real life friends because they didn't sign on enough.

For Warhawk, there really isn't much of a point of getting someone added to my buddy list to play. It's a game where all you need is the server name and password to get in (being in the clan really makes it easy). The in-game buddy list limits to the first 50 who became my PSN friends, so anyone added afterwards won't show up (so I cannot join their games).

Anyway, when you get the boosters, I'll be sure to get them added. ;) Don't worry, I definitely don't hate you at all. ;) I'm just really picky when it comes to accepting PSN friend requests. And even if someone gets accepted, there's no guarantee they'll last since I'll clear space again when needed. :p

EDIT: I notice the server was full. I should have started a CAG_Clan server 2.

How do I crouch again? I thought it was one of the sticks from what I remember playing months ago, but they're not working, so I'm wondering what I'm missing.

I'm thinking of creating a server tomorrow (Sunday) for the sole purpose of getting the 'Flying Fortress' trophy.
I'm thinking of doing the server at 8pm EST/5pm PST sharp... whoever doesn't have it, or just want to help out fellow CAGs get this trophy. Feel free to come by. :)

I've hosted just about every Saturday for months. I've been using wireless up until now, but for some reason it's been acting up the past few weeks... I'm going to restart my router later and see if that helps.
I had to bring the server down to switch to wired and then the stupid game didn't save my map rotation, so I had to make another.:roll:

If I had know so may would show up I would have done some bigger maps. That last CTF was hella fun, as was the Standoff*** CTF, that makes me wish there was still an "Unlimited" score option. DM with jetpacks still annoy me (I heard you're little comment metaly...:cool:).

Also... One little tip (at least I think it's a good idea)...
During Hero, if you're the hero, go for everyone that isn't the hero. They're really easy to kill and add a point to the score. If you're not the hero, go for the hero. Killing people who aren't heros doesn't add anything to the score.

I tried to "protect" you when you were going for the mines in the... what is it? Rumble Dome or whatever.
Also... I'm in for that. We should do some other trophies (I'm looking at YOU TWO, Lone Wolf/Cowboy!) too.

Well... When I was the Hero, and you were in the opposing team. You would almost always kill me. Half the time with your knife. ;)

And you know, I completely forgot about you guys wanting to get that trophy... Honest! I wasn't even thinking of the trophy at the time! :cold:

I'll make the server at that time, and I'll make each round 5 mins with low score limits so we can all try to get LW/Cboy trophies as well. :)
And we'll do the Rumble Dome again, so y'all can get the trophy I unintentionally prevented you guys to get... MY BAD! :D

I got it the first time through... Then I tried to leave people be who looked like they were going for it.

Also... I had some good "HOLY COW!" moments tonight...
I think I need to go play the lottery... I "got" the "One in a Million" trophy about 4-5 times tonight.:roll::lol:

Right on. I joined right back up once you brought it back and had absolutely no problems. I got over it quick ;). Sorry to B@#$* and moan about it.:bomb:


And speaking of trophies. Would it be possible for us all to swap around clans to get eachother that trophy? that seems to be the only one i think ill never get. biggest problem with this idea is once we would leave TMK would have to reinvite us all. he would be none too pleased im sure...oh well 99% will have to do. unless anyone has any other ideas.
