i will join as well although I will probably get smeared I've done fantasy football for 5 years but never done fantasy basketball. You pretty much want players with well rounded stats right?

Pretty much, there should be some articles on the yahoo fantasy page about FB draft pointers, give those a read to understand a little better.
 
If you can't make the draft they will pick it for you automatically or you can set your pre-rank list for which players you want 1st,2nd,3rd,etc....

I was, but unfortunately something came up for me, so I wont be able to draft :( hopefully the autodraft gives me some good players. Good luck to the rest of you :D

You just finalize your roster, make sure you want the players and get ready for the season to start. I'll be at the draft, but I might get GTA:SA so I might not talk much.
 
eh..mine is ok...not that great compared to others, but it is pretty decent :) and sorry i couldnt be there, i had to visit my g'ma in the hospital :(
 
I like my roster for the most part, although I feel I need 1 more 3 point gunner who can also get me some steals and have decent FT FG %'s. I got lots of big men I'd be willing to trade for such a player

I sure as hell do! That was horse shit that you vetoed those trades, especially my grant hill for brent barry deal. That trade was very fair. Take a goddamned good look at what Grant Hill's #'s are like when he is healthy, he is a fucking elite player! Brant Barry is good, but he has a reduced role on that Spurs team. This is fucking B.S that you are going around policing this thing and telling people what they can and can't do for no damned reason. Are you trying to sabotage peoples teams? Because that is really what it looks like to me. This trade is perfectly fair for both sides. Once again, I DEMAND that reverse it. I had a choice in signing up for leagues and I picked this league because I thought it would be run right. I was very wrong. Get your hands out of other people's business. Now I'm stuck in it and unfortunately I can't dump my team, however if this crap continues and the trade is not reverses I can promise you that I won't be active and I will try my best to dump players just so I won't have to deal with this crap anymore.
 
Damn man, chill out. No need to get hostile. Its a game and I'll take care out the situation. If only you hadn't been an ass about this and been more civil. I'll see what I can do, but its going to take a while since you were an ass about it.
 
I am in this league too, and I don't see anything wrong with that trade. Bottom line, to keep it fair, I think it should take a least 3 people in this league, to veto a trade... otherwise, let it go through... we could even use this thread to vote on trades...
 
Ok, we'll use the thread to decide on the tough ones. I'll admit I thought about that trade for a bit, and I went with the past attempts he has made and they have been unsuccessful and I didn't want anyone to get burnt on that. As for the other trade I wasn't really sure what to think. So we'll have atleast 3 people give their say on a trade and go from there.

oh, so who did jimbodan trade with?
 
well R. Alston averaged 10.2ppg 4.5apg & 1.4spg last year with the heat
and R. LaFrentz averaged 7.8ppg .8bpg 4.7 rpg but only played 17 games last year and this year he has a starting spot on a weak boston celtics team,
So I would say that this trade is close enough...
I really don't think we should mess with trades that much unless it is something just unbelievably obvious like a Kobe for Tyson Chandler swap...
