Alright, well I decided I'd go ahead and make a fantasy league on Yahoo as there seemed to be interested with people who would rather play on Yahoo.

So here's what I'm thinking, 10-12 teams. Standard scoring, 2 weeks of playoffs ending on week 16. Live draft as early as this weekend or next weekend, depending on when we can get the league filled up.

If you're interested in the league send me a PM or post in this thread and I will send you the league info. I'd like to have owners that are established and/or active members in the forums rather than lurkers. Also, the people who have expressed interest in the Yahoo league will be PM'd to see if they still are.

Well, I am a bit of a lurker and the last 3 years I played fantasy football I sucked......but hey if you need a last person to fill the slot. I figured I wouldn't hurt to ask.

no worries, ill PM you the info. i wouldnt consider you a lurker, you have blogs, posts, friends, collections, been here 3 years etc. id consider a lurker someone who has very few posts and doesnt participate in anything the community has to offer.

and with that there are not 5-7 spots open for the league.

sent you guys PMs, and yeah ugamer, i dont see why we cant change the time to a little later. again, the draft time is not set in stone, but you have to pick one when you set the league up.

so now were looking at 2-4 spots open still (with 2 outstanding PMs i sent earlier)

alright, we have 11 players now, im still waiting on a guy i PMd, so if youre interested let me know and ill put you on a waiting list, we might end up having that last spot open up.

I'm down if a spot opens up. I used to be a Fantasy Football fanatic, but I haven't played in about 5 years. The last time I played I was in 4 different leagues and I won all 4 championships. I'd love to shake off the rust and dominate another league!
 
the other guy i PMd hasnt been on since 6/17, so ill give him another day or so, if he doesnt respond then well take someone off the waiting list.

also, we have 10 people signed up so far, but ive invited 11 people, im not sure which team is which (well some its obvious), but to the 11th guy, make sure you sign up asap so we know youre in.
 
sorry man, i had it sent to 10 teams on accident. i changed it to 12. still waiting on the last guy, tomorrow night or so ill grab someone from the waiting list.
 
technique pmd me back this morning and is joining the league, so that puts us at 12 and full. sorry to everyone else, but it looks like there is plenty of interest for another league and id encourage someone to make one.

as far as the people who are in the league, draft will be aug 29 apprx 6pm PST. let me know if thats a problem for anyone so we can try and work around peoples schedules.
 
ive never used espn. i tried fox sports one time and didnt like it one bit. i like yahoos interface and ive been using it for years so im used to it.
 
I'll be around for the draft, not sure how active at 1st. Thats normally (9 PM ET) the time when I try to get my son to lay down for bed. Luckily I've got a laptop and he likes the movie Cars.
 
that was by far the quickest draft i ever had. look forward to playing this league, its more simple than my normal one where we play for money, we have IDP players along with the usual positions, makes the drafts a lot different and the rosters a lot bigger.
 
Hey, if anyone has trades to propose, it might be a good idea to post them here as well. I know I check CAG more than anything during the day.
