Holy smoke...vandy got all the breaks in my game with bowling green! Their qb kept throwing ducks the whole game. Its going to be a battle going against the wildcats speed next week!

Does Razor post here? I've messaged him to get a date set (4 or 5 days ago), and no reply. I really don't want to have the game simulated if I can't get ahold of him.
 
Good game Azumangaman. Frustrtated with how it ended, hence the encroachment penalty, since you called a timeout with 3 secs to go with a huge lead.

Well that and my many missed chances and that phantom fumble on the punt, thought his knee hit before the ball came out.

you too. Good stop on the 1 yard line. I thought that was going to be my 2 score lead, not the interception for TD. Interceptions in this game is ridiculous!!! I think i had 2 myself

Ok, we tried to get the game in last night. One of us was having major connection issues. We tried restarted 3 times, and it disconnected every time. We are gonna get the game in tonight now.
 
Week 2 Recap:

The Top 25 got a nice shake-up with the upset win by Miami over Oklahoma to cause Oklahoma's drop to #10 and Miami's rise to #9. The backend of the list also saw BYU and Penn State drop out of the Top 25 while LSU and Alabama move in at the #24 and #25 spots, respectively. The latest record for the Big Ten vs. SEC Showdown is 4-3 in favor of the SEC with two wins by Florida and Alabama and two losses to Minnesota and Indiana.

This week's Heisman Watch features two new participants, Indiana's QB, Kellen Lewis, and Michigan's WR, Tony Clemens, in the last two spots while the top 3 spots stay the same.

Winning this week's National Defensive Player of the Week award is Minnesota's CB, Ryan Collado, with 3 picks in their big win over Kentucky. He cleans up the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week award while Illinois' Arrelious Benn takes home Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors with 271 yards and 5 TDs. Vanderbilt swept both of the Player of the Week awards with D.J. Moore on the defense and Mackenzi Adams leading the charge on offense in a blowout over Bowling Green.

This week, we see the Big Ten vs. SEC Showdown continue with a few more big match-ups, like Illinois taking on Arkansas, Alabama going up to Michigan State, a battle of the ranked 2-0's between Idiana and Florida, and Tennessee facing #1 Ohio State. Elsewhere, Kentucky gets their first crack at SEC action and reversing their early season misfortunes at Vandy. There are a two big rivalry games going on between Michigan/Notre Dame and South Carolina/Georgia while Heisman candidate Matt Grothe shows what he's made of against Auburn.

Yeah, it was a terribly unlucky start for me. Couldn't do anything right in the 1st half. Not sure how I managed that field goal. Once I got in a groove, it finally kick started the offense. Now if I can just get my defensive game going, I might actually make some noise.

Yeah, try to keep it balanced, but there are times where I get over zealous with the pass and just Favre-it. But thanks for the game, hopefully I can actually beat a person and not just the computer. Though I'd like to play the CPU instead, since they don't have schedules.
 
MSU and I were not able to play tonight. I was able to play Halo w/ friends and he was with Call of Duty, but for some reason we couldn't party up. We are going to try again tomorrow night, but does anyone have any ideas?
 
It wouldnt let us start the game. i would invite him and when he showed up, I hit start for ready and he would end up disconnecting. We tried to make a party together and go in that way but It wouldn't let us make a party together.
 
Did you try just once or keep trying? That happens to me and eventually goes through so that the game can be played. I can't say anything but just to try again.
 
Jeremy (82 Freak), remember that was happening to us? XXXplosive, is your NAT open? I had this problem when trying to playing The 82 Freak and had to open up some ports on my router. If you have possibly got a new xbox recently, that could be causing the problems as well. The IP settings will be messed up on your router.
 
Let me know what time. We scheduled last night at 9 p.m. E.S.T but you never showed. I'll be on at 8 (in an hour) if you are available.
 
A couple games are in danger of not being played, so I want to post to make sure those games get played. They are Redrazorback versus im2throwed25 and Dandeschain's game against N. Illinois, so make sure you're going to get those in by Thursday night.
 
Our game wasn't able to be played again. We are now open for suggestions. There was a small window when we could join up in an xbox live party, but that was ended quickly. We tried everything.
 
Just to recap, we both tried resetting our routers, I tried plugging in straight to the xbox from the modem, My nat is open, I could join other parties and play agianst other players, just not 82freak. help!
 
Can one of you go to a friends/family member's house just to play your game? I had that problem b4 and no matter what I did, I couldn't connect with a dude at all. I'm sure Frisky would extend the deadline for you guys if needed....
 
how does that work with your gamertag? I'm down for that if you tell me how. What about switching the schedule so we play someone else? XXPlosive, when can you play again?
 
Finished my game against The CH3MIST and it seemed that my team's getting into a groove they were extremely efficient in all aspects that seemed to overwhelm Tennessee for a 59-14 win.

If you guys need an extra day or two to get that game in, feel free to take it if that's what it takes.
 
xxxplosive, what time works for you? How does 7 p.m. sound? Since i'll be using another person's place, i need to let them know the time. Hopefully this works.
 
Commish, we are going to try at noon tomorrow. I wasn't able to find a host due to everyone having a life on a Friday night (except me!). If playing at a different place deosnt work tomorrow, can you simulate our game. I think it would be time to put an end to the madness, unless someone has an idea.
