CAGCAA - NCAA 09 Dynasty - 2009 Season - Week 19 Week Deadline: 6/7

Sorry everybody. On my first play from scrimmage, Jimmerson was hurt on a five-yard run and is out for 10 weeks. My QB threw 3 picks and my recievers dropped 7 balls. I'm going to need a better recruiting season this year.

Thats why I'm glad my QB is slow as dirt and I run with my hb/fb a lot....so he doesn't get killed by SEC beasts lol! Good job getting your game done guys :)
he lives in Detriot and myself in Indy. you have to be in the same place to do offline, correct?
I was mistaken on what that meant, sorry. I just figured it was vs their profile.

Week 3 Recap:

The big match-up between Ohio State and Tennessee ended in a blowout as Ohio State's inexperienced team seemed to be running on all cylinders to get their third win of the year and to keep their #1 rank. The Big Ten vs. SEC Showdown has turned around with the Big Ten in the lead this week with a close 6-5 lead with wins by Illinois, Ohio State, and Indiana and the lone loss by Michigan State to Alabama. #5 Georgia had the only loss in the Top 10 as they dropped to the #12 spot while Florida also saw a similar drop from #12 to #20 with their loss to Indiana. Tennessee falls to the #24 spot as Auburn drops out of the Top 25, which allows BYU to join the fun at #25.

The Heisman Watch has gotten a bit of a shake-up with Kellen Lewis and Toney Clemons moving up a spot while Michael Crabtree is now on the outside position at the 5th spot. That means that Noel Devine has dropped out this week.

Indiana sweeps the Big Ten Player of the Week awards with Kellen Lewis taking Offensive honors and Matt Mayberry earned the Defensive honors.

This week, the Big Ten vs. SEC Showdown ends with Minnesota taking on Vanderbilt with the Big Ten clinching victory with a Minnesota win and the SEC can tie it up with a Vandy win. Azu if you read this tonight....send me a pm on when you can play

Good game dude, your defense stuffed me several times and they really gipped you on that play reversal. You stripped me fair and square on that play...its bs that they took your TD away :( You have great WR's at Minn

we ended up finishing our game last night. I was up 35 to 7 with 2 minutes to go in the 4th when the network failed and we had to restart. pretty frustrating. i was down 14 in the 4th and somehow came back to win. Good games razorback

Frisky, I can't get my game in till sunday due to prior obligations (4 twelve hour overnight shifts in a row). Will do it sunday when i wake up.

Simmed my game. Not sure if I will have time to play this week, as my wife's Grandmother passed away and I'm likely to have very little spare time this week. So if I'm holding up advancing at the end of the week, sim my game or give the win to whomever I was supposed to play.

Week 4 Recap:

Losses by Arizona and South Carolina allowed teams in the middle of the Top 25 to move up a few spots, which were the two main losses in the Top 25 this week. The Big Ten vs. SEC Showdown ended with a victory for Vanderbilt and a tie at six wins apiece for each conference.

It's really frustrating to lose a sim game to someone who didnt post or respond to my messages on live or on CAG.

Week 6 Recap:

The major flux in the Top 25 came at the hands of Texas as they were demolished by Oklahoma 34-7 to drop them out of the #2 spot so the conga line of national title contenders could move up to allow Missouri to now get that seat for the title shot. The middle of the Top 25 saw Georgia, Michigan, and South Florida lose to drop and allow some of the straggling undefeated teams move up a bit like Indiana up to the #10 spot, Boise State to #12, and Purdue up to the #13 spot. Rutgers is only losing team to fall out of the Top 25 this week so that UCLA can pop up there into the #21 spot. Vandy's on the edge of the Top 25 with the #26 spot after week 6.

The Heisman Watch for this week sees a steady top 3 while Noel Devine returns to the #5 spot and unexpected newcommer J.J. McDermott, New Mexico State's QB, has the #4 for this week.

The National Defensive Player of the Week is Indiana's Jammie Kirlew with four sacks in a big win over Illinois. He also earned Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week while his teammate, Bryan Payton earned Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week with four touchdowns and 134 yards of offense. The other SEC team with a chance to get into the Top 25 by knocking a ranked team out of the Top 25 as Georgia defends their ranking against Tenneessee. The biggest game of the week is actually a tie between #2 Missouri at #9 Oklahoma and #7 Miami at #3 Florida State, both of which are bigger because they're also rivalry games, as well.

Week 7 Recap:

As fast as Missouri became the #2 team in the country, they lost their first game of the season to Oklahoma, which allows Florida State to jump up as the next #2 in this crazy carosel of National Championship contenders. Not to be outdone by their loss, #4 Clemson lost to NC State, a far from unranked team, and dropped all the way to the #21 spot, changing their outlook on the season greatly in one week. #8 Texas Tech had a similar loss to Texas A&M and now reside in the #20 while the other big loser of the week, Miami, only dropped from #7 to #10 after losing to Florida State. UCLA, Auburn, and South Florida have dropped out of this week's chaotic rankings so that Western Michigan, UConn, and Vanderbilt could jump into the Top 25 and see what's fun about being ranked.

This week's Heisman Watch sees Indiana's Kellen Lewis at the #1 spot, pushing Michael Crabtree down a spot. Only one of the bottom three remains, which is Noel Devine of West Virginia. Pitt's LeSean McCoy is now the #4 contender for the Heisman trophy while Tim Tebow returns to the watch at the #5 spot.

Ohio State's Andre Amos earned National Defensive Player of the Week honors along with the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week awards with 11 tackles and 2 interceptions against Purdue. Indiana's Bryan Payton earned Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week awards with over 250 yards of offense and two touchdowns against Northwestern. Tennessee heads over to Alabama's home turf with their eye on turning their season around. The two biggest games of the week have to be #17 Georgia's trip to the Swamp to take on #12 Florida and the match-up of the big losers in week 7, #20 Texas Tech and #7 Missouri.
