My God - Shipwreck referenced Brute Force AND Rise of the Robots when describing Dark Void? That game must be truly dreadful...

I agree with the comments on the ipad, does anyone know when the new macs with i5 processors are supposed to be coming out?

RE: Calorie counting/weight loss iPhone apps

I'm currently using the Livestrong iPhone app in conjunction with the Daily Plate portion of the LiveStrong website.

It allows you to input what you ate and your activity for the day and does a nice breakdown of your daily intake. You get to see the amount of calories, fat, carbs, sugar, protein, etc, that you take in per day. You set a goal and it gives you a calorie target to stay beneath. And just about any food that I can find around here is already in their system so I do not need to actually input the calories/fat/etc manually for each thing I eat.

The bad thing is that the iPhone app doesn't show all the same stuff the website does, it does show how you are doing in terms of your daily calorie goal, and you can input all the same stuff, but it is more like a simplified version of the website. The other negative of the entire system is the max weight loss you can select for your calorie goals is 2 pounds a week (any more loss per week than that they consider unhealthy). Also the fitness options you track are pretty generalized and may not be completely accurate in the amount of calories they say it burns.

The Daily Plate website is free, so that is cool. But if you want to use the iPhone app in conjunction with the site I think the app costs $2.99.

I've been using this system for a little over a week, and I like using it as a food diary. I have to monitor what I am eating for other reasons besides weight loss, but trying to lose weight at the same time. So it may not work for you guys as it does for me, but the website is free to check out. I'm liking it so far just thought I would share.

"Project Shitbox" as a name is pretty eff-in funny. They will probably hit the 50%-60% for 360 owners getting s Shitbox, Problem is the 360 numbers are inflated with failure replacements, so 50% of 360 owners having the Shitbox is probably only 10% of the 360s ever sold.

If Microsoft wants to do something with Far East penetration for the 360, strike a damn deal with Sega (like they should have done in '2000). Only NA and EMEA give a shit about the XBOX.

P.S. - Hi-Def porn is great, it's the closeups that suck. Very few directors have changed their styles from the Betamax/VHS days where you NEEDED to zoom in to see anything. No need to zoom in and see a 42" 1080penis on the screen.

Let me comment about the God of War 3 Collector's Edition comment. Apparently an edition that's 40 bucks more that appeals to fans of the series in a huge way, and is more than just a box is...ridiculous to you?

Oh, but 250 dollars spent on plastic instruments based off the beatles is totally fine right? That's not ridiculous at all! Especially when you have one or more of the plastic guitars, drums and mics lying around.

Great show and everything, but I've been listening to some Stern for the first time in a long time and I realized something.

Cheapy on the Cagcast is very similar to Stern. As far as how they sound, their personalities, even down to the jokes they make are almost uncanny. It's pretty weird, but I suppose Cheapy would take a few keys from Stern's show seeing as how he's a die-hard fan...

Also, Wombat is definitely the Robin of the cast.

Lastly, where does Wombat get off interrupting Boat Crash during his description of Mass Effect 2? Shipwreck is a professional reviewer that's been in the business for at least a few months, he knows where the limit for spoilers are. All he was about to tell us is that the Citadel is much smaller than it was in the first game. OMGWTF SPOILERS ONE AREA IS SMALLER THAN THE OTHER.

BTW. Only jerks eat cereal from bags.

Wombat's constant needling of Shipwreck is getting old. Maybe it's just me, but Wombat's tone seems to reflect some real animosity towards Shipwreck. Is it because Shipwreck's presence diminishes Wombat's role on the CAGcast?

Inglorious Bastards was great. Different type of movie than Pulp Fiction. Almost more a more mature film.

I liked Pulp Fiction, too, but was more impressed than I expected to be by Inglorious Bastards.

If shipwreck had posted on twitter, asking people for nicknames for wombat, and had read them all out like wombat did this show, next week we would find out how upset wombat was about it all and how his wife is taking it as some personal attack.

i think i like it more when Wombat was just going random with the nicknames at the end. anything involving Shippy directly made me sorta cringe and feel bad for him. >_

Why is everyone going on and on about wombat calling ship all those names, it was meant as a joke nothing more?
Why is everyone going on and on about wombat calling ship all those names, it was meant as a joke nothing more?
probably because it wasnt funny the first time and it still wasnt funny after the 50th time.
I'm surprised Cheapy's rap didn't have anything about smoking blunts and being a space pimp.
Hahahaha. I know right. Or about going to sex motels.

An entertaining show, good work. I enjoyed the Mass Effect 2 coverage, discussion of the iPad, Boatcrash's Dark Void review and, most of all, Cheapy's freestyle rapping at the end.

Yeah, I also felt that Wombat was just trying too hard to be funny on the show this time. You don't need to give out blatant insults and then disguise it as a joke.

I don't exactly love Shipwreck for the way he reviews his stuff now and all the garbage he reviews instead of other games but come on, you could've stopped after the 3rd "joke".

Stop feeling like you're the third wheel and somehow left out now, just be yourself and it'll be fine
probably because it wasnt funny the first time and it still wasnt funny after the 50th time.
But it was funny!!

I'm sure I missed it either on the show itself or somehwere on the forums, but could someone fill me on the emails to CheapyD that are "thinly veiled threats" coming from Hal Halpin?

MjC

I really hate how Wombat goes about ending the show sometimes "I feel like I'm going to die" He's probably right its time to end but don't know these kinda comments really rub me the wrong way :&

i feel like wombat is jelous of shipwreck ever since hes become a regular on the show. recently more than than ever i har wombat insulting ship for pretty much no reason. its somewhat comical but ship is usually quiet and doesnt insult back making me feel bad for him. please cheapy talk to wombat on the show about my comment, id like to hear an explanation on wombats part on why hes constantly insulting ship.

i just wanted to give a quick shout out to terry, man you can fight this cancer. my dad just recently passed away from luekemia, he fought for 10 years. so you can do it terry we all are routing for you

Holy Balls this episode was funny, the CAGcast is getting better and better. Also, I discovered the site through the podcast. I've also been thinking for insults for Shipwreck, here's a few I made earlier:

Cunt Drizzle
Clit Dick
Holy Balls Your Head is on Fire
Your cock is like a Hitachi Microwave, it just don't work
Dick Pull
Jizz Cock
Cum Swat
Cat loving ash fucker
Wrap your dick round an office chair and have a good time

Also, you guys should be a game. World Of Jew.
In the closing Wombat called ShipWreck: "Day Walker", and you were all confused.... it's from South Park Season 9 Episode 11.
Eric referred to red heads without freckles as Day Walkers.
And here I thought it was a Blade reference.

Wombat's turned heel.

I thought the random nicknames were pretty funny, and were just in good fun, even if most weren't that original (except for Boatcrash).

Also
Cheapy: Can you think of any characters with less personality than Dom and Marcus

Wombat: CheapyD and Shipwreck...

Nice
