CAGFC (UFC 2009 League) - HW's Only! New Site! Details Inside!

Simeon Lamhov| Mach Sakurai | Submission(Triangle Choke) | 1:12 / round 3

Good fight man And the new WW champion of the world Simeon Lamhov!!!!!

We have to sparr sometime man.

Simeon Lamhov | Mach Sakurai | Triangle Sub Rd 3

Nice fight man, congrats on taking the title. It was a true toe to toe battle on the feet.
The reversals you were hitting were CRAZY. Very nice stuff.
I actually pulled mount a few times and thought I could maybe pound out a win, but nice job blocking and transitioning.
My confidence got a little too much and came out blazing for that takedown in Rd3 and when your reversed me on the ground, I spazzed out and gassed trying to get out. Lamhov then put Sakurai to sleep. Ending the unbeaten streak. Nicely played.

Dude, this is tough week for me I have to play Whipt1 next and I'm 0-2 vs, but I feel lucky!
whoops, realized i made a type, "send" is supposed to be "sent". Wasn't making a demand or something like that :whistle2:#
I know. For a second I thought If I didn't do it, he was going to beat me and make me get him a sandwich, haha j/k. :)

Congratulations to Simeon Lamhov for starting his CAGFC career out with a bang by defeating the (up to that point) undefeated Welterweight Champion Mach Sakurai! Lamhov made a loud entrance to CAGFC, voicing his desire to take the belt.

With other Welterweights Bill Brasky and Codi Garber already matched up, Lamhov made the most of his early title shot, catching Sakurai in a triangle choke 1:12 into the 3rd round. After only one fight, Lamhov now finds himself at the top of the WW rankings, but the other fighters will most certainly be gunning for him.
I can play tomorrow evening, or after 8 P.M. Pacific time on Sunday.
I may be out most of tonight, but I'll look for you. I should be able to make it Sunday though if I'm not around.

I am free for the rest of the evening and all of tomorrow hope to get a my match in then.

I will be on at 10pm tonight and some time mid afternoon tomorrow around 3 or 4 most likely.

Tony Hawk | Chris Moore | TKO in Round 2 (2:58)

First round was pretty slow, with both fighters mostly at probing range, picking their shots. Round 1 ended without incident. In round to, Hawk caught a head kick, bringing Moore down to the mat. After a few minutes of rolling around one the ground, Hawk gained the mount and earned a TKO victory when Herb Dean brought the match to a stop after Moore managed to survive getting rocked.

Good fight man, thanks for finish up this week's card instead of just bailing.
Gary Russell | I am DrP1zza | Tapout (Knee bar) 1:27 of Round 2
I think I'm going to retire DrP1zza. I mainly made him as a joke fighter, and I didn't ever really expect him to contend for a title. Making him true to life and having wrestling as his preferred fighting style was a mistake on my part. I don't think enough like a wrestler to utilize slams and I truly despise it as a fighting style. I have no business fighting Gary if I'm not fighting from a point of strength. It's just dumb on my part.

Bill Brasky - Codi Garber - Unanimous Decision - 5:00 Rd 3

Great fight!! Back and forth battle I really thought you were gonna get the decision. Looking forward to a rematch after I get the WW Belt!!!

Bill Brasky | Codi Garber | Unanimous Decision ( 30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Man was that a close fight. Really good fight, lots of back and forth. I thought I had a chance to win so I laughed hard when I saw all three scored it 30-27. I knocked you down twice in the 2nd Round so I don't know how the fuck they scored that round for you. But I could've seen giving you the first and third rounds, even though they were very close.

I assume your guy is a career CAF right?

Will his nickname be "Raysor Sharp"? ;)

UMX, as a reminder, I can play after 8 P.M. Pacific. I can probably play sometime before 5 as well; just depends on when/if you can play.

Same goes for you, of course, Nate.

Okay, well it's probably be between 3:30-4:30 Pacific when I could play. Then, anytime after 8, really. If either of you can play between 3:30-4:30 I will sign on then. Just let me know.

I'll try to be on around 3:30 your time. If UMX doesn't have much time and needs to fight you first though, I can wait.

Okay. I haven't heard anything from him since the last post, but I'll be on then to fight.

I'm on now. I swear we have some kind of Live glitch with each other because you don't show up on my Friends List and I can't even see your activity, regardless of if you are on my list or not. If you see me on send messages, I had a message from you before so evidently some get through. But yeah it doesn't list you on my Friends List or even as pending when I send an invite like it does most people.

Well, he did say before 5 Pacific. Remember, he's in CA, so even his 3:30 time isn't for another hour. Also, he's got his status set to invisible because bitches be getting up on Matt Young like free money. Word.

That's because my list is full. I can't receive a friend request, so there's nothing pending.

I can play in an hour, as I said. Nate said he's willing to wait until after our fight if necessary, but either way, it'd be nice to play you both. I won't be back on the computer till right before I sign on Live, just so you know.

Matt Young | Nate Lisa | KO | 1:31 of Rd 3

Good fight Matt! You seemed to just have my timing down perfectly for some reason. I ran into a bunch of big bombs, and thought I was going to get decapitated. Then, in the final round, I fall victim to one of my own specialties. The old "I'm going to do the same move as you, but I'm going to land mine first". My spinning backfist put my face right into Matt's fist, and it was over. KTFO! It feels good to be the one to stop your losing streak, haha. :wall:

Gail Pennyfeather | Matt Domoracki | TKO | 1:01 of Rd 2

Good fight, unfortunately my stats in Clench Defense suck and I don't know the controls to defend it. Hopefully I'll correct that by the rematch.

Like I said, I was due after all those "you counter my bomb into your own and KO me" moves. But both fights I had today were good. Nate and I always have classics, and Matt was really cool and did well despite the stat differences.

Nope, I havn't yet. Once the car is done and on the road we will have extra money to spend. I just use the shit mic if somebody really wants to talk.

Small Light Smurf over Brandon Haines TKO 4:47 in the 2nd round.

I knew I had to stay close to him because of his 103 standing kicks. My clinch game once again reigns supreme as I landed a good 15 uppercuts to the chin which eventually rocked him for the TKO.

People on here don't know how to get out of the single collar clinch?

Correction.

People on here dont know how to get out of my single collar clinch.

You just got here, dont assume you know things about everyone when you havent even played a match yet. Not to sound harsh but your comment just came off rather gamefaqs to me. We really try not to bash people here.

I've had no problem getting out of clinches, but I'll say that Soodmeg's clinches are the exception to that rule. Except for when I was able to catch a single leg his clinches are nasty. I could do nothing otherwise to break it.

15? I think you landed more than that!! I felt like I got a few good hits in the standup, but you mounted easily on the ground which I was able to reverse a few times as well. However, that fucking clinch killed me! I tried to catch your punches/kicks, but your timing was great. I guess since the cpu and a lot of people I play online don't use it, I don't know an effective way to get out of it. The only ways are to catch a punch/kick or punch your way out of it right? Am I missing another technique to get out of it?

Good fight though, without your clinch the fight would have been a lot more even in my opinion!

No I was just asking because on the site where I fight at it's like everyone knows how to get out of the clinch. I was wondering because if they don't then there are some easy wins for me.

Jackie Chan | Cung Le | Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-25)

Felt like that close was a lot closer than what the scorecards said. The stand up consisted of both fighters picking their shots, while the ground game was back and forth with reversals and transitions. Late in the third, Jackie managed to knock the wind out of Le with a trip, but Le hung on and gained the full mount with twenty seconds left to go. Chan found the strength to survive the remainder of the fight and get the decision.

Jackie Chan | Cung Le | Decision (30-26, 30-25, 30-26)

Another decision loss under my belt. I think the fight was closer than those scores indicated though lol. The judges scoring is something I really hope they fix for next years game.
The judges scoring is something I really hope they fix for next years game.
The more I have fights go to decision, the more I see this. Ground fighting is judged considerably lower than the stand up in the game for whatever reason.

Wow, played a couple random people online and I am really getting sick of all the "submission specialist" online. Every single person I face now has 95+ sub offense which would be fine if that didnt boil down to basically sub spamming fest.

Now I won all the matches but it wasnt even fun to spend 90% of the time spinning the damn stick around. I am still surprised at how many level 50+ guys still rely solely on subs to win matches and havent improved on much of anything. Hell I havent even seen a advanced sub since the game came out. People dont even try to get into better potions before going into a sub.

Sigh.....this league is the only reason why I still have this game.
