Also, I had tried to sign Winslow when I claimed him. I did it through the Connected Careers website, and after I went through the process, it said something like "the player will get back to you." How do you just sign a player without having that waiting period? Do you offer more money?
Not surprised that the website and the game would function completely differently, lol. In the game, they tell you exactly what they want, you make the offer, and it's accepted instantly.
Will you guys stop jerkin yer Poland get back to business here? We need to Sweden up here and be nice to each other.
Wow...you worked pretty hard for that one.
Apologies on Winslow--I did check the thread but somehow completely missed Winslow. I've been a little under the weather today so I'll blame that
Will drop Winslow immediately so the Rams can get him, and will find another FA.
EDIT:
Team: Seattle Seahawks
Sign: E.J. Henderson MLB
Re-Sign: Evan Moore, TE (Cut him for Winslow earlier, re-signing for roster spot)
Release: Heath Farwell MLB
Release: TE Kellen Winslow (for Rams to pick up)
Good man. Glad that's taken care of. No harm, no foul.
4th'd? 5th'd? More than seconded. Some people can't handle being told the rules I guess.
Taking a hurry up with three timeouts while up four TDs is against the rules, I'm sorry if that offends you.
Ehh...I'm not sure that I'd say it's "against the rules". It only being the 1st half being the difference maker. I'd definitely call it extremely aggressive...and like I said, I probably wouldn't do it. But with an entire half of football left to play, there shouldn't be an expectation to run out the clock yet...even in the 3rd quarter, it's an "at your own discretion" thing. In a closer game, using a hurry up there would be an obvious call. With that big of a lead...it's aggressive, for sure. But the game definitely isn't "in the bag" at that point.
