Can't send an invite to the guy who said he wanted the Pats anyway, as he doesn't have his gamertag listed. I guess I'll PM him and hopefully hear something soon.

I'm glad GP figured out what we were all talking about...I was really not looking forward to having to explain how this screws up a lot of teams.

I'm assuming this will be in the PM (or may already be since I'm on my phone and haven't checked mine) but do we have a rough timeframe for how each stage of the offseason will be advancing?

Just would have been nice to know that the Panthers were opening up too, so we could search for a replacement. I'm not calling you a douche. I don't know enough about you personally to say that. But that act in particular is a douchey thing to do.

Not yet. Trying to straighten all this shit out. I'm leery that if we advance with empty teams, the CPU will make their offers to players immediately, thus not allowing the new owners to do it when they join (kind of like how practice wasn't available for people in their first week when they joined mid-season). I'd like to at least get our committed owners in first.

All right, the only team left is the Panthers since Doomane bailed today. How do you guys want to handle this? I asked if anyone in the other league would be willing to squat, but have gotten no response.
 
staticz is going to squat and even possibly join full time he said hes onlnie now waiting for the invite

Lets wait it out a day until you get a squatter. They won't be open long and I'd rather not see the new owner get screwed on resigning players.

Nice! And that's how you get shit done! A big thanks to DVO and staticz for stepping up here. I'd be fine if he wants to keep the Panthers. He is aware that Cam Newton and DeAngelo Williams were traded away though, right?

Actually, I think you can. I know you can mark players as "tradeable" (which I'm guessing is basically a trade block). I haven't looked extensively to see how trade proposals would work, but it might be possible.
 
he said he would squat for now and after he checked out the roster he would let us know so he will prolly let me know or us in the thread know by tonight

Seems those people still have there last year, a ton of those people aren't showing up. It's just those 9 or so players I thought.

All right...I advanced us, and now it says we're in "Stage 1", but I'm not seeing any available actions. Is there nothing to do in this stage?

Looks like I still have Ray Lewis for one more year, unless all retirements haven't gone through. Ed Reed is still on the team as well. The previous owner or the CPU decided it would be best to not re-sign Ray Rice, so I had to franchise him because he wouldn't negotiate with me anymore. Actually gave me a little cap room somehow.
 
some how my team lost 12 million in cap space once we advance and i know i had 36.45 before we advanced becuz when i signed players i kept track of everything and had it all wrote done and once the offseason hit i lost a ton of cap space

Pretty sure that is the bug I was telling you about. Also probably the reason why the Panthers do not have any cap space.
 
We can re-sign! So don't advance us just yet. haha

It doesn't show all my 28 players maybe there not until next season?
 
What does it mean when a players status is unavailable in the re-sign players screen. Will I be able to resign him at all?
 
I can't do anything from the website it seems. Even thought it tells me I can resign players by clicking on their cards I can't find anyone who has resign on their cards.

No, the CPU or previous owner ended negotiations. Same thing happened to me when I took over the Vikings.
