Hmmmmm so then if he didn't do it he would have been guilty.

I see what you did there \\:D/

Hey Hey Hey guys, I lost my games last year in the league but in reality, I won them all.
Well, I guess some people just don't believe in our judicial system.

The people who found OJ NOT GUILTY, were our peers so can't get mad for something he DID NOT DO.
Kaster, I think you have a buyer for your bridge ;)

Come on guy. "If it doesn't fit, you must acquit".

And jza, shut up if that's the only response you are going to have. For fuck'S sake, grow a pair, get off n8 DICK, and make your own opinion for once. Jeez, such a PUSSY.
Wow...I can't even look at this thread right now. My head is going to explode.
Of course.

You instigate everything yet want to walk away when everyone else gets involved.

How have more people in this league not noticed what kind of douche you are at times? What the fuck. No one else notices this????
Let's come to a compromise...

that Jay Cutler is NOT an elite quarterback
Ahhhh don't do that. Half the people here just play Madden. They didn't know it was actually based on a real sport.

No one's forcing you to stay in this league.

C'mon guys. I leave for two hours and you try to burn the thread down. For the last time, Jay Cuter is mediocre, and OJ was definitely guilty.

Also, you might want to watch insulting the mid west, as Chicago is there and Nashville isn't...

Who said anything about me leaving the league? I'm just stating my opinion (actualy a Fact, but I'll be politically correct)

Like I said, stop being a lackie.
No one's forcing you to stay in this league.
should we really be opening the door for people to be leaving we are already short on owners here. i like playing against people not cpu.

Yes because being friends with someone equals being a lackey .

No, you know why you are a lackie.

Everyone knows why you are his lackie. You're his boy wonder. His tattoo. His boo-boo!
It's all perdition troys fault.
I'm going to contend that it's troy's sister's twins's fault.
so now that all this seems to be done hows that trade between the saints/bengals coming along?
Kaster?
I'm going to contend that it's troy's sister's twins's fault.

I have recieved two opinions thus far, but I know everyone has seen it.
Ahhhh don't do that. Half the people here just play Madden. They didn't know it was actually based on a real sport.
NO ONE other than a Bears fan would ever call Cutler an elite QB, and even then there's a large segment of Bears fans that hate him. Until you can squeeze that into your tiny brain, no one here will ever take you seriously.
Cowboys send -

WR Miles Austin 29, 4 yrs 49 million SPD 93, CTH 90, CIT 84, RTE 86, RLS 87, AWR 87
3rd Round Draft Pick

Patriots send -

WR Michael Floyd 23, 3 yrs 5.2 million SPD 90, CTH 85, CIT 88, RTE 80, RLS 89, AWR 57
MLB Brandon Spikes 26, 1 yr 5 million
PUR 86, TAK 89, SPD 74, PRC 89

I do this trade because I would like to get younger at WR and also upgrade my LB spot and having Spikes help Lee in the middle really gives me the athleticism I want in my front 7. Also it helps me out to get out of Austin's contract.
Trade Rejected

An important issue was raised with this trade. The Cowboys have $3.23M in cap space and Austin has a $7M bonus. I'm pretty sure the bonuses are prorated, so I don't know exactly how much is left with his 4 remaining years, but it's likely it would put the Cowboys over the cap (especially when you factor in taking on the contracts of Floyd and Spikes).

Me and loadz have PM'd each other.

I scheduled the game for today. Then he asked to play like 7 CT after the Skins/Hawks game. I said if we could play earlier cuz that game has no interest from me. But he hasn't responded since my last PM.

Anyone know if he is a Skins or Hawks fan?

Can you explain this a little more?

I'm not sure I understand what exactly the bonus has to do with the trade. Does it not go with Austin to New England?

And even if it does put me over the cap, wouldn't I just have the option to cut players in the off-season to put me under? Wouldn't that be the consequences I have to live with and from there make the moves with my team. If that was the only issue that the committee had, well then I don't see how it could have been rejected if it's only a financial issue.

The players original team has to pay his bonus. You would have to cut players before the trade would even go through.

take the years of his total contract divide by 7 then times it by 4 since thats how many years are left on his contract and thats how much bonus money that dallas would owe austin?

EDIT: forgot something important since austin has more than one year left on his contract his bonus will be spilt into 2 different years for cap penalties. so the total that u get from above divide that by 2 as well and half will go into the 2014 cap penalty area and the other into the 2015 area. ive done alot of trades. ;)

Are you 100% sure about that? Don't want to sound like a smartass, just asking.

Because I believed bonuses were not part of the salary cap for a team. Just the contract of the palyer.

bonuses stay with the team that made the contract with them they dont transfer to the other team with a trade

No, bonuses are definitely counted against the cap, and unfortunately, it's true that even after a trade the bonus still counts against you.

Yup, this is basically the exact reason you don't see players like this traded very often in the NFL. Even though you're unloading the long-term effects of his contract, you're still hit with the bonus against your cap, plus you're taking on the salaries of the players you're bringing in. Even with Spikes being a 1 year rental (though I assume you'd want to re-sign him), his $5M for 2013 coupled with Austin's bonus hit would make it very challenging to get you back under the cap. That's a lot of money to have to get rid of.

As for "well, isn't it my financial problem?", I can't speak for the whole committee on this as we haven't discussed it in great length, but considering the state that the Panthers are in, I'm not sure how comfortable we'd feel allowing a team to trade themselves into the red. Just doesn't seem like a good idea.

I see what you mean there. I'll tell you know. I'm not as good as Doo Mane was nor would I be a dick and just quit for no apparent reason. I mean, if we could do something like that it would be appreciated.

Because as you saw, yes, I was trying to get out of Austin's contract. I'm ok with taking a hit now just to get some more cap space later on.

Is there a way this could be worked out? Like I lose a 4th round pick for going over the cap?

You might be better off waiting until after the season. The cap hit will be less and you might have more room to absorb the hit.
