Yeah. I have struggled on the road this season against good opponents. The only difference between this game and the others is all my other road losses have been close games. I threw a couple picks and had a few fumbles along with that ridiculous FG return. I really don't understand how Madden decided that ball would come up short. 93 Kick Power with 10 MPH winds at my back would seem good enough for a 53 yarder, but apparently not. I couldn't tackle all game, Seemed like first contact rarely brought your guys down. My defense got their hands on a few balls, but dropped them all in the rain. Your guys on the other hand caught 3 or 4 picks.

My main concern going into this game was stopping Darren Sproles, but that didn't even matter because I couldn't score any points. My receivers couldn't get open all game and Stephens-Howling either fumbled or ran into my offensive line and fell down every time he handled the ball. Your guys were on my receivers like glue and it seemed like you usually had 2 or even 3 defenders on my first and second read, then I would get sacked or panic throw because I was about to get sacked.

Hopefully I get a home playoff game, otherwise I will be one and done in the postseason. I should win the division based on tiebreakers as long as I win against the Jaguars, but Blade said there were issues with playoff seeding, so maybe Madden will fuck that up for me too. It looks like they have it correct so far. I have clinched at least a wildcard spot.

Yeah. That is what I saw, but that doesn't make any sense unless it is a glitch or something. Wind should be blowing in direction of the arrow, at least that is the way it has been in previous games unless I have been doing it wrong for years.

Yeah, that should probably be a CPU game. If you'd rather play him again, that's up to you...but that's a game you can pretty safely say is over.

Broncos beat CPU Packers 41-10, after disconnection at 31-7.

Good game FrankySox! I was pretty disappointed when we disconnected. Your defense was killer and shut down my RB Duo for most of the game. Luckily my passing offense came through, and played well.

In the CPU game I pretty much just ran the clock and finished it quickly, as I hate CPU games. Both running backs ended up with some nice totals.

Yeah like I said in my message I was surprised we didn't get disconnected right before my one big play. It was REALLY sluggish right before I snapped it but it pushed through. I feel like I just wasted 45 minutes of my time but good game. You adjusted well to my game plan and just plain out played me. Good luck in the playoffs.

So Cards and Steelers are trying to play tonite. Have been disconnected now 5 times. First 4 were pretty close (tied or 1 td advantage either way) and early, still 1 st quarter. In last one, it was end of the 1st half (like 1:50 to go) and Steelers were up 42-14 and just kicked off to Cards. What's the protocol on this?

Even with a score of 42-14...that's probably too much time left to allow you to play the CPU. You guys can either try again another day, or we'll probably have to sim it.

Well, Steelers and Cardinals gave it a bunch of tries tonight, but the servers didn't cooperate and then Cards' owner's Xbox finally gave up the ghost. We have agreed to simulate the game.

I will be on travel to Denver starting tomorrow through next Friday night, so I have set the Steelers to autopilot.

Looking forward to next week, things may get very interesting. If I win vs. Atlanta, I'm in as the 5 or 6 seed, depending on the vikes' next two games. If I lose, it's all up to tiebreakers--I will be tied with the Redskins if they win next week, tied with the cards and bears if they win their next two. Tiebreakers are all over the place once multiple teams become involved and I know Madden gets it wrong sometimes, too.

So, essentially, as Al Davis says: "Just win, baby."

so bengals last game is against the steelers on autopilot. i will be out of town from monday till wednesday possibly thursday so im hoping we advance early tomorrow so i dont hold things up for everyone. I'd like to avoid that game being simmed since it does effect playoff placement and im really close to a few season goals with sproles

Meant to comment on this sooner, but I'll try to get in touch with pitfallharry. This move seems odd since he's 7-7 and still in the playoff hunt as far as I can tell. Unless he's out of town or something, I'm surprised he wouldn't want to see if he could make a run at the playoffs.

My playoff hopes are a longshot at best. Here's how it breaks down:

Current Wild Card teams
Vikings 9-5
Seahawks 9-6

Redskins 8-7
Bears 7-7
Cardinals 7-7

Kaster has a CPU game this week, which is almost a certain win. That puts him finishing 10-6 at the worst if I beat him in Week 17. That locks up the first wild card spot for him.

Seahawks have the Falcons left, and currently have a 6-5 conference record, if it comes to a tiebreaker scenario.

Redskins have the Panthers left. If Washington wins, that puts them at 9-7, which would be a tie with me if I somehow miraculously win out, but Skins would win the tiebreaker due to a win over the Bears this season, unless Madden screws it up.

Chicago has the Panthers and Vikings left. Two wins puts me at 9-7, with a 7-5 conference record. If Seattle loses their last game and I win my final two, I would get in, unless Madden screws it up.

Cardinals have the Steelers and 49ers left, and currently have a 6-5 conference record.

I've done my math, and a lot has to happen for me to get in. It's a toss-up between if I want to push the Madden fatigue to the limit and see if I can actually make the playoffs, or just pack it in and plan for the offseason. If staticz still wants to/is able to play today, I guess I'll play.

Lions eagles at 3cst 4 est. just played my first ranked game in forever and the guy I get matched up with has Ty Hilton (95 speed) and Donnie Avery (94 speed) in at TE and is running double TE sets the entire game. Screw that crap reminds me why I don't play games out of this league anymore.
 
Pitt and cardinals are a sim. Raiders is a sim. They are out of town the last two pages have info on those games. We are waiting on the bears game, and on the bills one.

Bills one matters in terms of playoffs, surprise that one hasn't been discussed yet.

Honestly, after the 2nd half of the season I had, I expect you to take the division pretty easily and for me to miss the playoffs altogether. My conference record is awful. I took losses to the Ravens, Steelers, Chiefs, and probably a couple others I can't think of. Can't wait for that 20th pick in the draft...

We are having polar opposite seasons. Last year you lead the league in rushing and went 14-2 and this year have a good record 9-6 but might not make the playoffs. This year I'm leading the league in rushing and am 14-1 but last year went 7-9 with a crap draft pick and no playoffs to show for it.
