Your time on this site has shown you to be argumentative (Haden/Manning trade) and exhibit a play style that I do not wish to bring more of into this league. Your refusal to accept what you're being told just reinforces my decision. I'm not discussing it any further. If you want to keep pressing the issue, you can see where that gets you with CAG moderation.

Welker (If he didn't sign him)
Cutler
The Cowboys (Ware, Witten, etc)

I am hoping Manning unretires. :D

We'll see. He did play really well for me, and sealed a couple wins with interceptions on my opponents' final drives to tie or take the lead. I'll tag him if I have to.

Positions I'm looking to fill through FA or the draft are WR and LB, maybe upgrade a few others if the price is right.

I resigned Welker last season, Bowe and Tuck could be if I don't resign them.
 
Dwayne Bowe has to have the most deceptive ratings of any player in Madden. I've got the Chiefs in an offline CC. All his receiver ratings are in the mid-90s now, and he still drops passes like crazy. I've seen staticz complain about him in the other league, too.

He doesn't have the drops open passes package lol. He's got 16k XP almost enough to buy it, was what I was working on getting next.
 
Maybe that's what it is. I usually just skip over the traits and only upgrade the ratings. It just seems like if the guy has a 97 Catch rating, he should catch the damn ball. lol.

I've started to wonder if consistency is actually more important than we think it is...especially for receivers. What is Bowe's consistency at?

I'm not even sure. I drafted Trent Platt in that same franchise. I think his consistency was a zero, and he was still outperforming Bowe. Not to Mile High levels, but it was clear who my go-to guy would be if Charles couldn't get me a first down.

Well, that just doesn't make any sense. There's gotta be some kind of stat to attribute this stuff to. Otherwise, it's just random bullshit...ha, though maybe that's our mistake for thinking Madden is anything other than that.

I think he plays fine, I think his consistency is 1 or 2, I might have upgraded that. I think it's been mentioned a few times that consistency seems to at least be somewhat important for receivers.

Rice should have 1 more year left he had 2 at the end of week 17. Hopefully the glitch from last year won't come back...

And consistency seems to be randomly important for WRs. I've upgraded Knox and Goss' consistency and they still drop a ton of passes.

I will definitely be trying to resign Tuck and Bowe, that's about it on my roster. Everyone else is backups I think, I'll replace them in the draft.

I franchised Rice last offseason. He shouldn't have any years left unless you re-signed him to a new deal.

Also, Consistency relates to your players hot and cold streaks and how drastically they affect your attributes. At least that is how I understand it. It should be important for every position.
 
aj green has consistency level 4 maxed out and he barely makes any mistakes but he also has high ratings dudes a monster.

Also i wouldnt go by that list for FAs becuz if u get them from the xbox right now most or alot could be glitched and not really FAs at all lol i hate that shit so much during the offseason time

That's weird. When I traded for him it said he had 2 years left, even said so when he was on your team I woulda never dealt VJax for him if he was in his contract year.
 
The way that I saw it was that after people were eliminated from the playoffs, their roster at least partly changed to next season. Rookies now show as 1 year vets and players that had 2 years left now show 1. Salary cap numbers have changed for teams no longer in the playoffs. I don't know what all it has taken into account, but I know it has changed.

I can tell you without a doubt that I franchised Rice last offseason. When I took over the team, Rice would not talk to me about a new contract. I was left with the choice to franchise or let him test free agency. I franchised him, obviously.
 
even my teams cap space looks weird now. i went from having 12 million in cap space to -2.24 and i know im not in the negs becuz when i was signing players last year i still had about 13 leftover in cap space for the next season. becuz i like to keep track of it so if madden messes up with glitches i dont freak out lol. so im just waiting for us to advance to offseason where things start making sense again

Yeah, I am not worrying about it until we are in full offseason mode. No way to make sense of it now.

ya its just a mess that i hope EA fixes in the next one its kinda important that they do i consider it an important feature to get right. but theres no way im negative plus theres a few guys making more than they should that will be kicking rocks very soon. well that is if the rights guys are in FA that i want. no reason to give someone the boot if theres no one worth picking up really. so maybe thoughs guys will get lucky and get there pay day after all. haha
 
I am so pissed Cam Newton fumbled the ball on a dive, like really. I was hoping that drive was going to be my comeback. I think that fumble recovery made the score 31-7. Not going to lie about how pissed I was with that game. I few different things happening and it would have been much closer. Those 2 picks by you early really determined the game. Here I am again losing the NFC Championship game.

i think the titans will be fine with Walker at TE might not be so bad after all n8 plus they made some much needed additions to the o line.

Not really sure they got any better though. Sign Walker, Lose Cook. Sign Levitre, Lose Hutchinson. Sign Wilson, Lose Babineaux. Tough to say that's a whole lot of improvement.
