All I was saying is most people in group two are dedicating themselves to this league and only this league on here. By signing up for the waitlist, IMO, they are saying there ready to jump into the other league at any moment its needed. I just think its a little unfair people waiting for a chance to jump into the other league have the same chance as people who have made the conscious decision to only play in this league. As I've pointed out they should be higher then people already guaranteed a spot in the other league but below people that are making the decision to just be in this league. If it was a 30 long waitlist I'd be more understanding of your opinion on this. It's a four person waitlist, and the likelihood of them getting into the other league is extremely high.
I'm sorry. I don't think that's reasonable. I can't hold people accountable for what MIGHT happen in the future. Yes, there is a good chance that those people eventually get into the other league (though honestly, each year that league gets more "permanent" members...it's the reason they only had 4 new members join at all this year). But there are a million other things that could happen too.
As I said, the person with the 3rd pick could drop from the league, leaving a team like the Patriots open while someone else is stuck with the Browns. Someone could have trouble making rent and need to pawn the game. Somebody's Xbox could red ring. Anybody who is in this league BEFORE they're in another league should be committed to this league first. If that proves otherwise, then it will be handled. I'm not going to be swayed on this one. Adding another group for "people who might eventually play in another league" is unnecessary.
EDIT - I think you just interpreted it a different way. Yes, I talked about people being EXCLUSIVE to this league and being guaranteed a spot. But that was mainly for the purpose of preventing this league from being filled with half the people from the other league while Madden is new and fresh, having those people take the good teams, and then bailing when they start feeling a desire to play something else. I'm not going to hunt people down on the internet to see if they're playing in an Operations Sports league...or a EA boards league...or whatever.I also don't generally have the intention of people signing up for CAG just so they can play in this league. My main objective was to hold spots for people who regularly use CAG who might not be as hardcore into Madden as people in the other league. Building the league beyond that is going to take time because like I said, you never know who is going to become a long-term member. At the end of the day, my wish is for people to WANT to come to this league first. But that's not going to happen overnight.
If that misled you in any way, I apologize. Do I appreciate people more who ARE here 100% exclusively and care about helping me build this league up? Absolutely! Those who become long-term members will see the fruits of this as they will have the same options next year of holding onto their team, or having first dibs on a new team. It's just a bit of a logjam now because we're still a young league.
