I don't think the maps are horrible, but I'm not having a lot of luck with them gamewise. There is only one I really like, that's Crossing, Stalag and La Bourgad are fine, but I haven't played either that much. Stalag is badly set up for capture the Flag, the axis will always die. Wildwood looks ok, and if I was a better player I would like it more, and Ironclad is shit on a stick.
I really like the three I have played so far, Stalag, Crossing and La Bourgad and really don't think that Stalag is badly set up so that the Axis dies. If you're a good player than you'll remain a good player and pull your team through. I haven't really played Wildwood and haven't put much time into Ironclad, but it seems decent.
Meh there not too bad. I liek the original maps better. Also it's slow going when it's tring to set a ranked game up on a new map. There are usually only 8-10 people who get into a room after a 5-6 min wait. It seems like a lot of people didn't buy the new maps.
I haven't noticed this at all. Ever since the last patch everything has been crisp, clear, and easy going for me to connect. I still get the No Game Session Available ever now and again, but it has definitely improved over what it was. I've had one other new funky glitch similar to No Game Session Available, but have only had it once and have not been able to recreated it.
I think all of you are being too tough on the maps.
