Call of Duty 3 keeps freezing during multiplayer setup screen!!!

What is going on? Has this happened to anyone? No other game does this. Just Call of Duty 3. Only when I go online and I am getting ready to play. Either going through the set up or waiting for a game to start. It will just freeze on me. What should I do? Should I be worried about my 360?
 
I havent played CoD3 online much but i do think my 360 has frozen when setting up for online play in either CoD3 or CoD2(im pretty sure its CoD3).
 
Mine has done it consistently this week as well. I had it happen about 5 times over the last two days. It also causes my system to lock up and I have to unplug and replug my wireless adapter for the system to recognize it's in.

No offense but I'm glad someone else is having this problem. I figured it was a sign my system was getting ready to fry.
 
but i know this will sound really weird but if you wash the disk with toothpaste (thats right) and warm water, the game runs again. it has to be bicarbonate toothpaste tho, (not gel). i tried this and it works fine now :)
 
This might sound weird but i washed the disk with toothpaste and warm water and the multiplayer works for me now. Just use bicarbonte of soda toothpaste (the normal white paste, not the coloured gel). It worked for me :)
