Just picked mine up from FS that i ordered last night when the deal went live. There weren't any left on the shelf and they had to dig through a stack of others that were reserved to find mine. I wonder if anyone is going to have any luck just going in to get it without reserving it.
 
Did an in-store pickup of Infamous from BB at South Common in Edmonton. I checked the shelves for any copies but only found used versions for it priced at 64.99. They did have some in the cage near the cashiers, but I don't know if those are reserved or if they are for the public.

I also saw used copies of GT5:prologue and Ratchet and Clank: Future for 12.99. 3 copies or so left of each.

No shortage on Infamous here at my Futureshop. Not surprising since there seems to be very few users on CAG/RFD that are here in Calgary or even Alberta for that matter.
 
Im in Saskatoon and I had ordered it for pickup this morning. I will be picking up this afternoon but I did receive an email saying it was set off to the side for me.
Same thing here Eoyote, I don't usually see many CAGs here in my city.
 
I went to BB today and when I told the girl that I wanted to price protect my previous purchase she asked if it was for Infamous before I even told her. I guess a lot of people did the same thing here.
 
Price protect is when something you bought goes on sale within 30 days of you buying it, they'll price match it and give you a refund. Basically, it is price matching a previous purchase.

Just got my copy from BestBuy. I was worried I wouldn't get to it for awhile because I had just got my 360 back from MS yesterday but it just RROD'd today so back to the ps3!

I don't think that you even need to bring the item with you when you go to price protect it. Normally they just need the original receipt and original form of payment (if you used a credit card) so they can issue the refund.

I think people were being very careful just in case BestBuy was reluctant to price protect it cause it was a limited sale. (If it was unopened, they could return it and rebuy at the sale price.)
 
Just saying I think there are copies still at the Sherway Bestbuy in Etobicoke [lots of the cardboard shelve holders].

I live in Buffalo, Ny thankx for the deal i was going to hit best buy in st catherines for 2 copies but instead i reserved them at future shop in the Falls . So not to far away
 
I just want to thank game_fanatic for posting this deal here. I picked this up at BB a couple days ago and willing to take the hit for infamous if the price didn't drop (great game) since they never actually had the instore flyer's at my BB. One price match for 44 bucks back and I'm a very happy camper!

Really? I haven't seen a post of his on a game-related deal in quite some time. When I think of "biggest hoarders" people like Klepto/HDken/Grappos come to mind mostly because they openly admit to, and brag about it in every single thread.

But like I said, I still don't believe Alberta has many users that frequent these two forums as I have never had a problem finding stock for "insert deal" and rarely see posters from this part of the west.

Just thought I'd put my controller down long enough to thank the OP. Even though those crafty buggers at BB waited until after the Uncharted 2 MP Beta offer was over (6/28), I am surprised at how much I am enjoying Infamous. Fantastic game. All for $30 and change. I love our community!

Yeah thankfully MrKat seems to have gone away but he used to brag about how he bought every game from multiple rogers stores that had trade in values of over 20 dollars.
Anyway its good that you haven't had any problems getting the deals. Its always good to see "normal folk" get some every now and then :)

it was the walmart at lougheed mall bc

That might explain why i could never find anything good at the Rogers around here....maybe he lives in the south end of the city as it's always hard to find any games left that are good deals here. That's why i usually just end up ordering online or reserve it for pick up and i don't even bother with rogers anymore.

i got mine from bay & dundas earlier today by 5:30am yesterday 'pick up' ordering

there hasnt been stock at FS or BB since then (in the toronto/toronto east area) untill checking the site just now, warden & eglinton says it has stock on the BB site
so if anyone's left, not sure if you can get the online price to stick for picking up tomorrow, but you could try

final check before i delete my bookmarks
prices are back to $70, stock still same for toronto/east (only warden eglinton BB has it), then again it's 4am... although.. when i set my pickup wednesday morning at 5:40am, there was different stock than a few hours before
