Hey guys Game Days is back! For some reason! Guess they were really disappointed from the first one's lack of sales (because well... the sales sucked). Here goes! The deals will be listed as they are in the flyer:

Note! I left out the Crap that was the regular price (like UFC or Fight Night Round 4 or Tiger Woods 2010 Wii) that were advertised but stayed the same price.

Xbox 360 PRO

- Buy a PRO kit and get NHL 2k8, Sega Superstar Tennis or Alone in the Dark for free. $299.99

Actually, the EB Games i went to in Kingston, was selling Sonic Unleashed brand new for $14.99 on the same day that FEAR 2 was $19.99. Not sure if it is always going to be that price, but when i went to Best Buy a few doors down, they had Sonic Unleashed for around $50.

Also, hopefully some 50 Cent: BotS. That game seems too hilarious to be terrible.

it's been a part of the US gamestop sale (at $20)...i kinda doubt it happens, but it wouldn't be too far off as there's been at least a bit of overlap in the two sales from what i've seen so far.

I've played it, it's actually not a bad game. The story is definitely hilariously bad, and the gameplay isn't too shabby.

I just wish there was local split-screen co-op... co-op makes everything better and not enough games nowadays still take into account the offline experience. =/

So, today's daily deal is Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror for the PS2... Is that any good?... *hasn't played any Syphon Filter games*

Does anyone have a heads-up on what tomorrow's DOTD is gonna be?

Not exactly part of Game Days, but I just got home with a copy of King's Quest Collection; this is literally the first time i've seen it in the wild. And it being 15 bucks doesn't hurt either.

Now I have to find a way to grab that copy of Vampyre story.

Edit: Now that the initial giddiness of finding this has phased, I look down and realise I have nothing to run this (got an old ass Mac) ... maybe I should hock it off to someone less deserving with XP. :(

Hmm... so is Mirror's Edge $10 or $20? =/ Either way, I tried to pick up a copy at my local EB but I couldn't find any left.
 
Last Remnant for $10 would get me buying; I hear the technical issues are resolved by installing the game directly to your HD, although I have no first-hand experience of this.

Oh man, I definitely want LR if it's only $10. Too bad I don't get back to Canada till Thursday, though. At least I managed to get Bionic Commando and Singstar ABBA for $20 each and a a used copy of Valkyria Chronicles for $35.

I was thinking about PoP DS (I'm assuming it's the new one and not the Battles game) but then I looked up some of the reviews. I guess it's nothing for me again this week.
 
Man, I just got a 360 and now LR goes on sale? Perfect timing! I really hope it's 10 bucks, but 20 would also be tempting...

It's like a slot machine. Throw out enough sweet deals to make it worth coming back for more, but not enough good stuff that they're actually losing money.

Some people just look at online websites like this one, but many others will make visits to an actual store. If even a small percentage of that traffic results in sales then the door crashers on old stock are probably worthwhile - especially since they end up selling more than just deeply discounted items on those "off" days.
 
I am now regretting my foolish decision to not pick up POP or COD3 last week, I quite wrongfully assumed this weeks deal would be better. Here's hoping for next week!

I just asked an employee at the EB in Conestoga Mall in Waterloo about TLR tomorrow. He confirmed it for me, but couldn't give me a price. He also said they have "tons" of copies, so hopefully there will be one left for me by lunch time!

I'm going before my dentist appointment to see about Last Remnant. My mall store had many, many copies when I stopped in today to check
