Been living in the same apartment for 4 years now. The carpet is mega-cheap and I don't believe it was designed to be used as long as it has. There's a high turnover rate here and I frequently see a van with carpet hanging out the back shortly after the moving trucks leave.
Anyways, my carpet is in bad shape. There's lots of stains and discoloration as well as high-traffic spots that are nearly flattened due to the cheapness I suppose. I know there's not much I can do about the flat spots but I'd like to clean up the stains. Is there a cheap and easy method to go over all the carpet and get rid of some of the stains? I'm a homemaking n00b.
