Don't even bother with Rising Sun. Just keep playing Frontline and pretend the Germans are speaking Japanese. It's not worth it, not even with a GGC.
 
yeah, i wrote that one last because im not too sure im getting it....i heard that you'll either love it or hate it, but most likely hate it....nice idea about pretending they're speaking different languages though, lol
 
Ha BB actually made their x-box games more expensive by dropping the price from $19.99 to $17.99. No gamers gift card. They should have at least dropped them to $15!
 
Oh man, KOTOR for 20 bucks. Awesome PC game at a great price. I just bought it for 50. Time to do a buy/return.

I know that GH go by sales but I do think it is wrong that a C-rated (gamerankings) game (Getaway) gets GH status.
 
Good deal at CC for those who don't yet have XBL - the starter kit comes with Crimson Skies already, and then you get R63 for free on top of it.

Crimson Skies = $30 value
R63 = $50 value
XBL = $70

That's $150 worth of gaming for $70.

I believe that xbox starter kit for $40 is the 3 month trial edition, not the $70 version with crimson skies. The $40 version just has demos, headset, and 3 month subscription card. I could be wrong since my CC currently carries the $40, $50, and $70 versions, it would be sweet if they all included a rainbow six 3 with purchase.

You'd be right. The $40 kit from the ad includes 3 months of XBL, a headset, and demos for Mechassault and something else, but no full games. Still, you get RS3 for free, so I suppose that could be the free game in this instance.
 
I may pick up NBA Street Vol. 2 for 14.99 at Circuit City, even though I still haven't played Vol. 1 yet. :(

Interesting that RDR is on sale for $30 already. The reviews have been lukewarm for the most part. Maybe a quick prce drop is in it's future. I hope so...
 
I rented Red Dead Revolver and it was a lot of fun. Flawed, yes, but a lot of fun. I might pick it up for that. Then again, KOTOR is pretty much a must....
 
Damn...Star Wars Galaxies for $15 after GGC (just to make sure the GGC does work on all games even if they're on sale, right?). Might just have to try that since my friends play it a lot.
 
the only thing i really need this week is a gc controller, i might wanna pick up that afterglow one for $15....unless thats the regular price. does anyone know how much that one usually retails for?

The way Best Buy structures their deals, one could get $10 off any Xbox game $29.99 and up. Just buy the game and the Xbox live kit and get $20 off your total . . . return the unopened live kit the next day and keep the $10 off your game. They usually split the savings between the 2 items . . . unless they make it proportionate to value of items????

Refunds with coupons are always done proportionate to the item cost.

ie...if you buy 2 items for 20 bucks and use a 10 buck off coupon and return one of the items the adjusted refund will be 15.
