Lies! Anecdotal evidence! An anomaly! Surely you had at least $50 invested in that copy of Pokemon Dash I bought from you.
No, I got that at a yard sale for $5. Lol.

And the Classic NES Series, there were only 12 of em released over here. I have 10 of them boxed, 8 of which are sealed. So, close but no cigar.
Well, my Suncoast had a long, slow, painful death, so I had plenty of time to plot out what I was going to buy and for how little. Some well-meaning person took over the local branch, decided to put a lot more emphasis on anime and manga products, and the place began to die almost immediately. I made off with a ton of ATHF, Nightmare Before Christmas, Fullmetal Alchemist, and other stuff before it finally died. There was a plush Tachikoma that my sister really wanted for her birthday that I forgot to buy, though :(
That's how it goes with anime stores. The one near me took on skateboards as their main focus because they were losing so much money. That, and they sold bootlegs that no one wanted to buy. I got so many fansubs from there in my early teens. Ah, memories.

Well I found the money I used to pay for it on the sidewalk! So ha!
not really

12? I guess that I forgot that there were only a few released here. I only have Excitebike  (Speaking of which, Excitebike World Rally is out. I really want it but my access to the Wii Shop Channel is FUBAR due to all the homebrew modifications I have to my Wii.)

Strangely, there was a skateboard/skater fashion store called Badboards in my local mall that survived for quite a number of years before finally closing up shop. I guess it depends on where you live. Japanese entertainment has never really thrived overseas, so making an entire store focused on it is just business suicide. The Adult Swim-driven boom of the early-mid 00s is over and piracy has really put the release of DVDs/manga volumes on their last legs. I'm not into it as much as I was in my teenage years, but it's still kind of sad to see what little scene there was sputter and die out.

Oh, no I only got the US releases. I'm not even gonna try to track down the JPs.

I'm missing Xevious and (damnit) Super Mario Bros.

I have SMB, but it's cart only, and Bomberman and Excitebike are opened. They're all at my parents' house in the attic in a box with my other rarities/sealeds.

^Interesting...

Well, I opened Excitebike cause it was my first one, and I realized that it was an exact translation and I already owned it on NES, so it bored me quickly. So when I slowly gained the rest of them for cheapish, I just kept em sealed. Bomberman I bought opened.
I used to own The Legend Of Zelda, but I lost the cart and box. Still have the manual, though.
I sold my NES series LoZ a few years ago when I needed money, and I accidentally forgot to include the manual when I shipped it. So that makes two of us with a game-less Legend of Zelda manual!

I didn't really buy any more Classic NES series stuff because I had a card e-Reader back then and the cards for NES games were a quarter of the price of the carts. Played a ton of Tennis and Ice Climbers for a while.

Oh, and I bet you think you're getting a new one, huh?

*muah-ha-ha-ha*

/devilish laughter

I'd bet against my own success just to be sporting, but I'd end up being out a lot of money, now wouldn't I?
What are you guys babbling about? Is there another lowball around that I need to be avoiding?
leftwing's lowball is going on now. Today I wrested a complete copy of Sword of Mana from bvharris' determined grasp, and I'm currently taunting Chairman on his continued inability to outbid me on an e-Reader.

Well I'm out for quite some time, I've got a drawing due in 10 hours, and it needs at least 4 more hours of work, so I will see you guys at my next undeserved break.

yeah, I was thinking about getting a PS2 memory card adapter but heard it doesn't copy/send stuff. Like a 1 time dump the memory card type of deal.
And are you gonna get one of those (insert negative opinion here) PS3 Slims? Or a BC?
Slim. I'm already running out of space in my TV stand for systems, so the slim is the best option. I'm never getting rid of my PS2, so I don't have to worry about BC.
What are you gonna do with the stuff you didn't sell Chairman?
Another lowball, of course! Not until maybe January, though.

Taking a short break to post this.

That is all.
Note to everybody, pm me your address or at least your zip code. It'll help me get shipping figured out faster.
I won't clog up your inbox since I got free shipping. You might still have my address from the charity lowball. Zip is 20015.

By the way, this is what I've been doing with my lowball earnings...

I sold all my games I didn't play to buy more games I won't play.

I think that's called an addiction.

You're just now realizing this? :D

Addiction? Now, not selling the games you don't play anymore and still buying more games you're not going to play is an even deeper level of addiction than what you're suffering.

One morning about four years ago, I suddenly thought to myself "what would happen if I never sold a video game again, no matter how much I hate it/have thoroughly beaten it?" Not only did I do just this, I went on ebay to buy back copies of every game I'd ever sold. (Anyone have a PS1 copy of Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense? It's the last one I need) The rest is a story of obsession that's better left untold.
