So in that cut scene, how did they manage to misspell the names of all three Shadow Hearts characters (Yuri, Karin, and Nicolai)? Were they not aware that these characters already had established localized names, or was this a rights issue where they had to change it?

FYI - Dark Spire: The outer box cover was open but the DS game case has its own shrink-wrap. I was hesitant to buy the display copy too but I saw that game itself had a y-seal. The sound track cover holder also had the circle sticker on the opening. I would have preferred a completely new copy with everything sealed but for $5 I couldn't complain too much.

They DIDN'T CARE. My only theory as to the voices is that Sony demanded an English voice track, so they whipped one up on a goof and assumed no one would use it. Uru was Yuri's Japanese name.

good luck finding an actual sealed copy. I just picked up a "new" copy at GS. worst gutting job I've ever seen. back of disc has a huge smudge (better than a scratch I guess), artwork is frayed on the bottom, back of case completely punctured with a hole in the back cover artwork and a big crack throughout the back of the case.

but I couldn't even argue to get the used price, since that would cost me an extra $25!!

I know that. I bought it anyway. I just wanted a sealed copy. They had the case for it out on the shelf, and the cart, box, and soundtrack in the back. The soundtrack is still sealed.

This game comes with a soundtrack CD? So it's a 2-disc release?

No fucking gamestop new copy in Oregon according to their website.

Don't know where you're seeing that. I see the following completed listings: $20, $30, $17, $18.50, $20.50. Some of those with FS.
 
Was able to score a copy earlier in the day. Last copy I found at the GS I dropped into. Gutted copy but I didn't care much either way. I didn't know GS started to put gutted games into plastic sleeves. Seems people didn't like the sticker on side so this started up. Didn't care either way since I was able to get a copy. Thanks again OP.
 
Thanks OP! I also brought this on release day for $40, still sealed.

But I found my local GS had multiple copies, one gutted, three crappy reseal, three original seal.

Picked up two original seal.

Your GS had 7 copies of Chaos Wars? WTF?

I checked several GS in my area and none of them had more than the gutted display copy. I ended up buying my gutted copy at the GS that had a pennied DQV guide. :whee:
