I'd be surprised if even one of those people who did that translation own a JP copy. And since it was never released in the US it's probably not protected by our copyright laws anyway.
 
Oh I know, its silly.
But they try to take the high road by asking you to buy official mother 3 swag if you're going to download a rom.

I would own a japanese gba copy but they're insanely expensive.

Its to bad, its a beautiful game, and a shame Nintendo is letting it slide into history.

It's Japan. I think they're protected by international copyright laws since they're not some bullshit 3rd world country. It's the random small countries that aren't part of the treaties.

Oddly enough, I believe you can get the 2008 Prince of Persia LE from Kohls online. I get a lot of gift cards to Kohls for Christmas and I always look at their xbox games and novelty shirts.

If you plan to kep it as a collector's item you should not throw away the sleve. It does not metter the condition the game is much more valuable with it as complete
 
I saw Mother 3 for GBA new in a couple of places when I was last in Tokyo spring of last year. I don't remember it being inhibitably expensive; I didn't buy it simply because I didn't trust my reading skills to be good enough to enjoy it. Didn't think to check the American market value on that one.

The most common theory behind Nintendo not releasing Earthbound on VC is that the game slipped a lot of copyrighted references into it back in the day. Now that the Internet makes it easy to spread word of what it contains (and lists do exist, they make a great read), they would have to make several adjustments and cuts to it for their legal dept. to give it the green light. This would be quite an effort for what would ideally be a ten dollar release, and they have an extensive backlog that they could put out far more easily.

Mario All-Stars is technically a LE because it has a limited release, though it's certainly arguable. Since the games it includes are available on the same system in another format, just not a physical one, I figure it passes the tests.

I believe you mean the first Force Unleashed game. I don't even see the second game on their site.
 
Is the Bioshock 2 collectors edition still $29.99 at gamestop? My store has one sitting high up on one of the display shelves I'd like to nab as long as it's not just an empty shell.

Spotted 2 copies of Warhammer Online Age of Reckoning CE at my local Walmart today for $30. Pretty sure the servers are dead, but it looked like a nice CE. The question I have is: where did they come from? They were never at that walmart until recently.
 
This is super YMMV at this point but both versions of Assassin's Creed II Master Edition (360 and PS3) are $19.99 at Gamestop now. I was lucky enough to get a new copy for 360 that my local store had stashed in back :)

I'm sure this has been posted too but both Bioshock 2 CE and Call of Duty WaW CE 360 were $30 each. Very YMMV for sure ...
 
Does anyone know were I can find a Fallout 3 CE for a decent price I been dying to get one (360 preferred)
 
Gamestop has had the limited edition of Deathsmiles for the 360 discounted for 29.99 for a while. But now Aksys Games is currently running the same sale, 29.99 w free shipping and is giving ever damn cent of the sale to aid Japan in its current crisis.

You can read about the promotion Aksys is running here. One of their employees is chiming in on the topic to answer questions too. Sadly, Aksys can only ship within the continental U.S. though, so Canada/UK/Hawaii/Alaska can't participate.

No, it's just one of the options under The Force Unleashed 2 page. Just got it in and amazingly enough it even had unused DLC and was in good condition. I think its around 35 shipped now though which is less of a deal IMO.

I bought hunter edition two days ago for like $2 more, gets here today I'll post as well. If it's broken I'm going to return and get a new one at the lower price. Will post with how it turns out as well.

Good luck with that, when they originally came out I remember that almost all of them had broken facehuggers. A rare edition would be one without a broken one so dont hold your breath..

Worst case I'll get a bit lower price... not in any hurry to play the game so I'll try it once. If I get two in a row I'll probably just cave and keep it.

I was planning on picking up the standard edition late last year at Target but people bought them up when they hit $19.xx. $9 more for the collector's edition is not bad :D

AVP Hunter edition (PS3) just arrived.

Perfect condition, facehugger wasn't broken or anything. Took it out and made sure but it is in great shape, not even sure how you would break one of these it's super flexible.

Was pretty ecstatic when I saw it on there shelf behind the counter. I know these things are going for $100+ on ebay.

I plan on keeping it all, but maybe selling the 10" statue.

apparently that was a pretty big issue when the game came out; a good amount of the facehuggers were broken midway down the tail

yeah they are buy it nows that are not selling. The ones that are actually selling are going for $70-$80
