"Chinese Democracy" finished, Hell expecting blizzard.

Agreed. Well, not really but for some strange reason I think it's actually going to be good. I'm not sure why...

Because Axl is going to bring you to your Kn-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-nees, knees, knees.

Maybe it's because Axl was waiting for grunge and nu-metal to kind of pass and people wouldn't mind hearing a straight-up kick ass hard rock album right about now.

I think you're giving Axl waaaaaayyyy too much credit, javery.

I bet he'll get nervous, change his mind, and rewrite the whole album before it gets released.
It won't be released until he's dead and the label pries it from his hands.

Last time I heard, it is actually done, it's just being held up in red tape thanks to Axl and the record company disagreeing on how the record should be promoted.

How about just release the damn thing. Gee hard concept. I mean if Trent Reznor can just release an new album with little to no real advertising outside of the internet....

There's a ton of money in this album. Rumored to be $15 million

You can't really compare it to an album Trent did in 10 weeks at his house.

They need massive sales to just make back the recording cost.

True. Not to mention all those free Dr. Peppers that are about to be given out as well.

And I firmly believe that Hell will freeze over now when "Chinese Democracy" comes out but if we ever see an new Pink Floyd album. Now THAT is when hell will indeed freeze over.

You're right, it's actually going to bring democracy to China:lol::lol:

Well, the Dr. Pepper thing is Pepsi's business not the record labels.

I believe that Chinese Democracy will come out one day but a new Pink Floyd album will never ever happen. They can't even get together to do a reunion tour and David Gilmore seems pretty happy with his solo career.
I would rather have Axl minus Slash than Slash/Duff/Matt plus Scott Weiland.
I thought Velvet Revolver was pretty good. Those guys are all very talented, if not a little misguided.

You were close. ;)

Pepsi doesn't own Dr. Pepper. They are their own company.

Also now that Chinese Democracy is finished, I wonder how long it will take for the second and third parts of the trilogy to arrive.

I know I'm giving this topic a bump from the dead, but a nine-track studio quality leak of Chinese Democracy has finally hit the net. Three untitled tracks are part of this leak.

Listening right now to it. And no: I'm not sending anyone a link, it's there if you look hard enough.

It's about fucking time, Axl.

EDIT: Rumored release date is August 5, 2008. Then again, how many times has this album had a release date? Take it with a gallon jug of salt for now.
