pardon me for being ignorant....but whats the deal with f zero? ive never given it a second look in the stores...the cover just didnt grab my attention...plus the gamecube is my least fav. console....i figured it was a kiddy game where you just fly around shooting stuff....

It's a pretty good racer IMO. Lots of chracters you can also customize your car. The high speed turns and ramps also adds a challenge on hard mode. You never played FZERO for SNES? go download a SNES emulator and the FZERO rom and you'll know somewhat what I'm talking about lol.
 
F-Zero's far from a kids' game. It's probably the most challenging racer out there.

Well worth $15. Well worth the $50 I paid for it.

Nice deals!

I highly recommend Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 for PS2 if you like racing games. This is one of the best I've played.

Also sweet deals on all the Gamecube stuff.

if you price match at BB, how much extra percent to they give you by beating their price?

I wanted to know because if it worth it I want to match Mario Golf and F-Zero. I wanted F_Zero when it came out but have been waiting for this drop.

To clarify, that is 10% of the price difference. So, if there is a $5 difference in price, you get an extra 50 cents off. A lot of BBs will only give you the extra 10% if you buy it first, and then do a price adjustment.

This is sweet. On Firday I'll grab a Nintendo GC and Viewtiful Joe for $100. (Still have to decide between indigo or platinum)

Then on Sunday I can pick up Metroid Prime for $15.

Might have to pick up F Zero and Mario Golf, I thought we were supposed to save money with the site, instead I'm spending more and more!

Fight Night, $38? Very tempting indeed.

I second the comment about Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 on the PS2. If you've got even the slightest liking for racing games, this one is about the most fun of any out there.

Are you sure this is right? I'm reading this as CC will take the $5 off BB coupon? I'm not so sure if that's correct.

Has anyone tried doing a pricematch at Best Buy and using a GGC and it saving them $5 off the pricematch?

I've gotten shot down trying to get BB to match and use the coupon, but others have gotten it to work. I have gotten CC to take the BB coupon, and I haven't heard any failure stories.
 
Mario Golf is well worth, particularly with friends. Lots of fun, great challenges and mini games outside of just golf.

people so stupid should be shot.

now if F-zero were a kiddy game where you fly around shooting stuff, it would be worth a purchase at $15. But it being a stupid car driving game makes it worthless.

I have it and thinks it a pretty decent golf game, imo i think its best played with a couple of buddies....especially with some of the wacky taunts each of the characters have....
