Hit the Eugene, OR store yesterday and they got no Eternal Sonata, Fire Emblem and FF:RW :bomb:

I wonder if anyone saw/got those in the Oregon stores?
is this a deal throughout the whole month or does it end sometime this month?

also how much is Front Mission DS right now?
Clearance is clearance. And Front Mission? I may have to get a DS!

went to the CC on sahara west today in Vegas, absolutely nothing
all i wanted was eternal sonata and fire emblem, maybe FF12 : RW

someone got there first and probably bought all of them, i did see 2 copies of phoenix wright trails and tribulations though

This is a clearance thread. A clearance means the prices are in effect (and may drop further) until all stock is gone.

just picked up dragon quest swords today. also saw Osbcure: The Aftermath for 16.96 but wasn't sure or heard much about it, so i passed. anyone have that game, is it worth that? thanks.

Front Mission hasn't been clearanced at CC. You can try GS. They have FM DS $19.99 new/$17.99 used.

Well hellooooooooooooooooooooooooo competition ;)

I had already hit up that one and bumpkiss. Don't even try going to the one on Maryland pkwy as I've cleaned that one out.

Went to this location tonight and someone had literally cleaned out the GBA Kingdom Hearts that I was hoping to buy. They were nice enough to leave Super Mario Advance 4 intact though.
Thanks again, Botticus. I picked up DQS at the Western Hills store, but since none were displayed, I had to ask the manager to check in their stock room.

When I first saw this thread, I checked the Florence, KY CC and I was planning to pick up FE: RD and FFXII: RW for some CAG's here, as I already have both, but for the second clearance in a row, some one has gotten all the games I've been looking for. I'm typically there the day of the clearance announcement or the day after and get the games I'm looking for, but when I looked for the copies of FE and FFXII: RW that I were there last week, they seemed to disappear as soon as the announcement came. Must be another CAG in my area now, an employee who's on top of the clearances, buying them upon announcement, or this is getting posted on FW or SD (which I really hope isn't happening).
if it makes you feel any better, since I stopped working at the Tri-County, OH CC back in March I haven't gotten a single clearance game I wanted from any Circuit. Someone or a couple of someones is cleaning out all the CC's in the Cincinnati area.

I found a copy of Fire Emblem at the second Circuit City I visited in Greenville (the CC on Woodruff Rd had 2 copies, and I grabbed one of the them), but I forgot to check for FFXII: RW.

Garbage, don't waste $1.
Pending? I already got the game yesterday for 16.96
I meant, if my CC was having the sale as well. Not all CCs honor the clearance sales, right? Anyways, I did pick up FE:RD, missed out on FF12:RW, but I won a copy via Ebay for $18.50

I was at a local CC and they handed me a printer flier that clearance games were on-sale. Not sure if it was just that store or all CC's.

Anyone tried it pick up a $16.96 game today and seen if it was 20% off?

They had 20% off signs at my CC however the guy would not give me the discount, he said the games were already marked 20% off and that the 20% off was NOT an additional discount. This is VERY misleading IMO.

CC sales are not like WalMart, or BB, or Sears sales, they are generally nationwide... nothing beats hitting up a CC that never marks down clearance games and making out with a bag full of loot for cheap... will always remember that one trip to an out of town CC during the time many of the games were .96-3.96... there were games all over the place still marked 49.99 ringing up for a buck... did U buy more than I could play... yes... but I turned around and sold some of the games I never opened for a nice profit years later... nothing beats selling a 2 dollar game for 30 bucks (unless you get 40 for it lol)

I think CC was my first big deal from CAG and it also resulted in the beginning of my backlog. The $5 clearance was absolutely insane, I picked up 20 games (no doubles) and to this day, probably only finished 5 of them. And the $8.96 GBA/DS clearances boosted my GBA/DS collection 2-3 fold.

I missed out on the .96-3.96 clearance, I can't remember why (I think it might have been because it was my first year in college and freshmen weren't allowed to have cars so I probably couldn't make it). When did that sale happen?

it's also incorrect. the games will ring up with the extra 20% off.

confirmed in Parma, OH... though they didn't really have anything left from this round of clearance.

Galleria Circuit City (San Felipe and 610) had many of the clearence games avail. They had Nights, Zak and Wiki, Fire Emblem (at least 2 copies) and Master of Illusion for sure (I know I scored these). Also its worth noting they rang up at $13.57 each.

Anyways if anyone in the neighborhood wants em - head over ASAP.

It was a few years ago, AFTER the infamous leaked $5 sale... this clearance (which ran a year or so after the $5 sale) games would start around 8.96 and would be marked down every couple months until there was a HUGE list of games that were clearanced... It was like christmas digging through inventory and finding all these cheap games, eventually the leftovers were sent back to corporate and thrown on the website where they quickly were snatched up
If my local CC is running the 20% discount on clearance games, can I price match on the games I bought last week?
Yes you have up to a month. If someone can confirm this is nationwide please?

No luck for Eternal Sonata at Daly City CC. I'm pretty sure I saw one couple weeks ago, so I assume someone else got there before me. Also found Dragon Quest Swords, but didn't pick it up since I probably won't play it.

I may go back today to see if I can find other games.

^^They should be able to. They can also look up your name and see stuff you've bought. I don't know what system your store runs on(mine is DPS - looks like DOS..) so if they have newer systems it MIGHT be easier to track down your receipt.

Check the CC on Stephanie and Warm Springs. They had a couple copies of Kingdom Hearts but I didn't pick em up.

checked out the livingston nj CC and picked up the last bleach (wii) .
everything else was pretty picked over. didnt see anything else except some crap ps2/xbox games for 9.99.

thnks again op :)

PS bleach was $13.xx not $16.xx just a heads up.

Hit up all the CC within a 15 mile radius of my place in the Philly suburbs. All of the $16.XX games were ringing up as $13.XX.

Also, after hitting up my 6th CC one of the clerks gave me a problem about the $.01 strategy guides. He's been working at CC for years and said that something that is listed for a penny is supposed to be sent back to corporate and not sold. So he called over a manager and she wasted 20 mins of my time trying to look the stuff up online. I told her she wouldn't find it and that I hadn't had any problems at any other CC. Finally she got frustrated and threw the guides on the counter and said take them.

So, just a heads up, experienced clerks might be apprehensive about selling the guides for a penny, because I guess they are really supposed to be sent back. I understood what he was saying because at a penny they might as well give them away. Anyway I still made out with about 25 guides hitting up 6 CCs.

Found Kingdom Hearts: CoM today for 13-something. I'm not sure if I really want to keep it, but I did buy it. Not a huge KH fan, even though the first game is decent.

If someone wants to trade, I'd rather have FFXII:RW.

I was wondering why my Eternal Sonata rang up at 13.57. I wasn't expecting a further discount. Does anybody know how long the extra 20% off is good for?

What is the verdict on:
Harvey Birdman
geometry Wars Wii.

I was tempted to get DQ Swords, but $17 wasn't worth it, I might bite at 13.50, however.

When Price matching, do I also need to bring in the games or just the reciept? Funny thing is, for one transaction I have the game but I cant find the receipt, and for the other, I have the receipt but not the game >_

Sweet, Found one lonely copy of Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors Wii ( I copied and pasted that) They had a few other but..I passed.

I made a post here, but it disappeared...

Anyway! I found Kingdom Hearts: CoM today for 13-something. I bought it, but I don't really know if I want it that much. I'd rather have FFXII:RW, if anyone would like to trade.

Trade requests belong in the appropriate corresponding trade thread and not here, that's why certain posts are being deleted.

Took a quick stop into CC to see what was left, and got a nice surprise that no one else will care about.

I don't know when it happened, but they FINALLY dropped the price and clearanced out Casino Royale on UMD. It's a dead format, but as a collector, I needed it. It's been bugging me, too, since it was like the last UMD that never dropped under $20.

Figured I'd throw this in here, since I'm not sure if UMDs are part of these clearances or not.

I scored Eternal Sonata for $13.08 after clearance price and gamers savings (10%). Not sure I agree with the math, the girl used a calculator to arrive at that price, but I wasn't about to argue over it. lol
I'm not sure if these are new prices but my CC had Enchanted Arms, Genji, Virtua Fighter 5, and Stuntman Ignition for 16.96
Can anyone confirm VF5 for 16.96?

I spotted eye of judgment for 39.99 at my CC, but that may more of a universal price drop (considering it's 30 at walmart) than a clearance.
What is the verdict on:

Harvey Birdman: Funny but not much of a game. It's pretty much point and click. If you're a Harvey Birdman fan, it's worth the $17 or however much it goes for nowadays.

Geometry Wars: The Wiimote/nunchuk setup was frustrating for me. I prefer the DS version. At least the Wii/DS wireless thing allowed me to unlock a galaxy in each system.

A note for everyone!

There was not a new Clearance List for this week. It only consisted of PC game markdowns(not clearance prices that end in .96¢ )
