Everywhere I checked $30 They probably meant the PS2 version. Show the receipt if you can.
 
I hate to resurrect this thread but I wanted to warn people that CC has raised the prices on a lot of these "clearance" games. For example, Kill.Switch and Siren are now $34.96, The Mark of Kri, Primal, Arc The Lad, Downhill Domination, Madden 2004 (GC), Tiger Woods 2004 (GC), 007 Everything or Nothing (GBA) are all $24.96. It seems to make no sense; if the games hadn't been selling at $9.96 why would they sell now for a much higher price?
 
Yeah, but the whole point of this clearance was to free up shelf space for the fall games. These games are still taking up a lot of space (and ironically, they put them back on the shelves in my CC).

I'm assuming you had all these games scanned, right?

what i mean is there got better games out now so they will meet their sales quote on games without dumping the games down to 5 bucks. Once they need to meet the quote and dont have any real good sellers expect another price drop
 
I guess this whole Harvest Moon thing revived this topic... oh well. I noticed something interesting from the price list that my friend who works at CC gave me. They recently marked some bargain games back up. For example.. Breakdown for Xbox was 9.99, now it's back up to 16.99. My theory is this... could they have marked some games up because they're planning another mass clearance on Black Friday (or more likely after Xmas), and don't want to blunder it like last time by advertising a clearance without any stock?

No, but I didn't have to. The new stickers were added over the old stickers (which I could still make out) and the website reflects some of these new prices.
