Circuit City Clearance list. 5 - 10 dollar games as of June 18

Yeahman

CAGiversary!
June 18.

Since this list was bumped I changed it so that no one would think that the old prices still counted. At this point I don't know if CC has any kind of percentage clearance going.
Gamecube Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 Nemesis are ringing in at 14.99
Damn, im gonna have to go back for those!

Just picked up Crazy Taxi 3 as well. My local K.B. Toys shop didn't have any in inventory for their sale.

GBA: Game & Watch Gallery 4 $15

PS2: Ninja Assault $22.50 ---This is the version without the Guncon2, I think the one w/Gun was marked down to $20 a long time ago, I was surprised this one was still $44.99, even at half off it's too much. :(

Just got:
Freaky Flyers (PS2)- $5
Wipeout Fusion (PS2)- $5
Herdy Gerdy (PS2)- $10
Sled Storm (PS2)- $10

Had the following titles scanned:
Buffy: Chaos Bleeds (PS2)- $20
Metal Gear Solid: Substance (PS2)- $20
Chaos Legion (PS2)- $40

I hate to say this but they need to quit lowering prices >=P

Here's the haul for today ...

Robotech (PS2) $5
Bloodrayne (PS2) $5
Breath of Fire V (PS2) $5
Freaky Flyers (XBOX) $5
Wipeout Fusion (PS2) $5

For those in the Detroit area, head over to the Dearborn CC. They still have plenty of games in stock. I just picked up Haven, Rez & Ico. They still have multiple copies on the shelves.

Yep, so they can sit on games they will never ever sell otherwise. If games don't sell you either move em out dirt cheap to make room for new stuff or you send em back to the warehouse to sit and rot in boxes. Which do you prefer? :D

Jusat got back and got
2 Copies of Rez $25 each
ZOE 2 5.00
Robotech 5.00
Freaky Flyers 5.00
Bloddrayne 5.00

Selling the 2 Rez to my dumbass friends for 45.00 lol
Thank U Cheapass gamer and CheapyD for this great Website!!!

If there is anyone out there who can get me Breath of Fire DQ and Shinobi i am willing to pay paypal for those 2. U perpose the price and PM me thx

Wow, I'm satisfied with my 2nd haul in Colorado. Got Rez in 1st trip to Littleton CC.

Drove down to Cherry Creek and found:

Gitaroo Man $10
ICO $15
Breath of Fire V $5

All in all, a worthwhile trip out of the way. LOL, Gitaroo Man was shoved all the way in the back behind Ghost Recon or something!

Also saw a copy of Disaster Report and Robot Alchemic Drive. Both $25 each. Might go back to get RAD. Wish I could find Shinobi :(

Hey guys don't forget to check the PS1 games. I remember someone said C12: Final Resistance was $4.99. I also got Blaster Master: Blasting Again for $4.49 (I don't believe anyone mentioned this one yet). I would have checked more but there was a bit of a crowd today.

Does anyone know is Legend of Dragoon is $4.99? Or any of the PS1 Mega Man games?

Can't...stop....self...from....going back for more cheapassedness!!!!

I went back to pick up a Crazy Taxi 3 and Freaky Flyers for my friend....but I just HAD to get more stuff for myself.

I got Xbox version of Beyond Good & Evil for $20 (I figure if it also drops to $10 any time soon I can price match..but $20's a good deal), and Magical Quest w/ Micky & Minnie GBA for $10, and Megaman Zero GBA for $15

Sega Smashpack GBA was $10 and Earthworm Jim GBA was $7.49 if anyone cares. I put them back. :)

GuilewasNK@ I think it's been posted before, that pretty much EVERYTHING that's not listed online, ie: non-current games, are ringing up half off. The problem with alot of the pricing is that CC, at least in my area sucks at keeping prices updated. So half of what I see still says $50 when It's really $20 or $10, then half of that due to the sale. The only original PSX games that wouldn't be part of the sale are value priced games possibly & greatest hits games, that are still considered current.

My CC has Legend of Dragoon also, it's a GH version, but that game's so old it's probably part of the sale too. I didn't bother to scan it thou as I didn't really want it. I was thinking it might still be a $20 game, that would ring up at $10, but I haven't tried.

My CC also had Mega Man x4 x5 & x6 X5 is the only one I checked and bought, it was priced $15 and rang up $7.50 I already have X4, X6 is a GH, not certain if it's still current or not, it could be half off too. It was still priced $30 at my CC thou, so I was unsure if I wanted to spend $15 on it, or not I might end up buying it too! ;)

But some tips I've used, besides what others have said about them not being online, typically they will be older clearanced games, so they should come up 50% off. If it's an old game chances are it's clearanced! I saw the first Dark Cloud the other day, it's priced at $50 while DC2 was $40, both might actually be cheaper, and be 50% on top of that, but I would most definitely think that the first one would be!
Just think about how old the game is, there are probably some really old games at some of these stores, not just the ones getting mentioned.

Also for the games that have been repriced, look at the tags, here's a picture of some of mine, the original tag has the barcode and everything, and looks older behind the new lower priced tag, pretty much any game that's been dropped in price, from $30 to $15 or from $40 to $20 or whatever, if you see it's been dropped chances are, it's because it's a noncurrent game, clearanced out, and it will ring up at half the cost of the new price.

But since we have many price drops and alot of games hiding out of order, many of these games never get re-priced on a regular basis.

So you have to use you're CAG instinct! :p

I've only brought 1 game up to the counter so far that hasn't been part of the 50% off. That was Time Crisis 3 w/Guncon2 LOL I was hoping it'd be cheaper, but I didn't think it would be. Turned out I was right.

I also picked up one value bin PSX game Rescue Copter, it was priced at $7.99 and that was it's price. But this game retailed for cheap, had not been dropped, so I figured as much when I went to the counter.

I've been wanting to pick up Crimson Sea for Xbox, just waiting for one last price drop. Right now the first page has it listed as $25, has anyone confirmed this? I read a post of gamefaqs that it was $12.50, but circuit city's website also has it listed for $25. Any information would be appreciated.

haha what I mean is I'm rapidly becoming poor because of these good deals. ;P

You're a hell of a guy calling your "friends" names and using their gaming needs to make yourself a hefty profit. Pimp really is a good name for you, but please don't call yourself their friend.

Heyz, I went the Woodland Hills CC with a friend last night to check out their inventory and here's what I found...

I picked up:
Resident Evil Gaiden (GBC, Final Copy) - $4.98

My friend picked up:
Wipe Out Fusion (PS2) - $4.98
Amplitude (PS2) - $14.99

Im'm not sure if there are anymore copies of the 2 games that my friend picked up but here's what else they had...

GCN:
Summoner: A Goddess Reborn - $9.99 (1 copy left, I left it in the PS2 section around the "M" area)
Red Faction 2, Wave Race: Blue Storm, Mystic Heroes (1 copy left, I didn't check the price but I'm pretty sure it'll ring up at a very nice price), 3 copies left for Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu Commemorative Lithograph Edition for $20.

No Resident Evil 2 or 3, but they had Code Veronica and lots of Zero's.

GBA: Around 2 copies of Phantasy Star Collection, 1 copy of Lunar Legend, 1 copy of the Sega Smash Pack, a lot of those Snow White GBC games, They also had Megaman Battle Network 3.

Also they had 1 copy of Space Channel 5 (rpobably will ring up for cheap), and I think Crazy Taxi (not quite sure about that one).

I checked the price of Shinning Soul and unfortunately it's still $30....

X-Box...didn't check it out. Ditto for PSOne.

PS2: They had Metropolismania, Auto Moddellista for $30 (maybe 25 with a gamer's gift card match), Legaia 2 for $15. Sorry, no Gungraves, nor any of the really really great deals.

robot, its $25. I price scanned it the other day. I am also eagerly awaiting a price-drop on Crimson Sea. :D

-Morpheus

Was Amplitude $14.99 or $19.96? It's been $19.96.

Ridge Racer V is $14.99.

Legend of Dragoon is online so it's still $14.99.

I only picked up Freaky Fliers (xbox) for $5 today.

I scanned but did not purchase:
Inside Pitch 2003 (Xbox) $19.xx
Kabuki Warriors (Xbox) $14.xx

Yes, I know Kabuki Warriors is a horrible game, but I found it on the shelf and was curious as to how much they were trying to sell it for.

I kind of wonder about that fivedollars thing myself, were I confronted with the game at that price

On one hand, with bushido blade 1 being my favorite three-dimensional fighter of all time, I would love to see if there's anything left of it in lightweight's latest game

On the other hand, it would be devastating to watch the fall of one of the most potentially talented development companies in the history of Sony systems :whistle2:(

hey fellas, i've had great luck finding these cheap ass games at CC, but the only one i want but can't find is Mr. Mosquito. if any of you guys happens to have an extra copy, i would gladly do an even swap if i have something that you can't find. i've got a couple of shinobi, robotech, and many others, so PM me if anyone is interested!! thanks!

"Was Amplitude $14.99 or $19.96? It's been $19.96. "

I;m sure the price is 15 but now I forgot whether the game was amplitude or frequency....I'm leaning towards amplitude however...

Oh Ok it must have been Frequency. It's 14.99.

I wouldn't be suprised if Amplitude goes down again but if it does it will probably go from 19.96 to 9.98. It was $20 before the half off started and CC has already added other games like BOF V and ZOE 2 since the sale started so it could be added to.

Well, greyghost post about the ads stated that there wasn't anything visible about the 50% sale. I wouldn't be surprised if tomorrow all the games go back to their normal price (some probably still cheap but the $5 going back to $10). I don't know I may be wrong, but just thought you guys would like to know

Crap i saw Red Faction 2 today and i didnt get it :( i gotta go back tommrow if they still have it 50% off
I picked up
Red Faction 2 (Xbox) - $7.50
Dr. Muto (Xbox) - $7.50
Breath of Fire (PS2) - $5
Hey, so is this deal over tonight? I don't think it said anything about a 50% sale in CC's ad...I'm not gonna have a chance to make it out to my CC tonight so I'm hoping this deal continues. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Sorry if this was asked already.

GC

Wave Race - $9.98 lots left

GBA
Banjo Kazooie - $9.98 great price!!

XBOX
Good & Evil - $19.98 incredible!! FYI PS2 is $9.99

Wow, I'd kill for a Dragon Quarter. My local CC is out of them.

My last trip, I picked up Guilty Gear X2 for 20, and RAD for 25. It also seems the CC by me is a little more picky about which games are 50% off. Friend of mine picked up ZOE2, but for 15 instead of 7.50

CC in Charlotte, NC ( University area ) had about 4 or 5 each of Bloodrayne & Wipeout for PS2, also about 15 Wave Race For GCN left.

anyone know how much phantasy star online is? Also, does it have a monthly fee to play besides the cost of xbox live?
anyone know how much phantasy star online is? Also, does it have a monthly fee to play besides the cost of xbox live?
The Xbox PSO is $20 at Circuit City. Yes, there's a $9 monthly fee.

I picked up a bunch of 5 dollar games, Freaky Flyers, Robotech x2,Haven, Wipeout, and Zone of Enders 7.5, xbox exhibition 2 with full snk vs capcom2 for 99cents. I traded 4 of the 5 dollar games for Final Fantasy at Ebgames!

I just got Gungrave for $5 - I know it's worth it but I know nothing about the game but for $5 I figured what the hell... I love CAG.com!

picked up bloodrayne for $10 on xbox...

Ya know...why didnt anyone remind me about those spiders in the first level?

I hate spiders...
All gameboy color games are $5

I got these games NEW for $5 each

Disney Emperor's New Groove
Harry Potter GBC
ESPN Track n Field
Turok 3
Pokemon Red -- last one :)

GBA:
Iron Man $5

Those are great prices :)
What??? I went to CC today, and all GBC games are not $5... Anyone else, not see a game for $5? I tried getting Mario Tennis, and it rang up at 12.48. Also, Pokemon Card Game was 10.

I thought there was a fee and there was no mention of it on the box that I could see. Oh well.
