Thanks for posting the list, but I know all the Circuit Cities by me are already wiped out from the last go-around. I can't wait for people to run to Circuit City today, find nothing, and then come back here and complain that hoarders got everything. Good luck to those of you that actually give it a try though. I'll be sitting this one out.
 
I won't even bother, other than to drop by on the way home to see if Powerdrome is in stock for $3. Other than that, my store has, I dunno... 15-20 different GC titles total? I don't think anything on the list has existed there for a year.
 
I fail to see why people complain about deals just because they aren't interested. As long as it helps at least one person, it's worthy of a thread IMHO :)
 
Agree with The Truth, thank you sooo much for posting. Whether or not I will be able to find the games at CC, thanks for the heads up, especially in times like this where we (gamers) have to save up for 360, PS3, Revolution........

I agree. I think that most stores are all cleaned up the last time around.
 
Nice list, too bad about 97% of the games on that list are gone from my local CC when the Summer sale started.Much appricated though OP.
 
I wouldn't mind Sat Night Spdwy, Second Sight, and Powerdrome for FYE fodder, but me finding those is not gonna happen.

The prices are marked on the games, I saw a few yesterday in-store. They were in the bin set out for clearance games, like before.
 
Thanks demo! I just had my credit limit upped. I may as well check some of those GBA games. I wouldn't mind having Madden for my GBA.

Depends if one has to go out their way or if they are already in the area...and how many games they bought.

I think I had about 17 games, but I still don't feel like it because I thought $9.9x per game was a good enough deal.

Yeah, I got one of those, but I foolishly picked the online one, since there's nothing for me in the store. So hopefully that remains true. Not that I'm ever going to spend a dollar on their website, but oh well.
 
I apologize if this was mentioned already (I'm at work and too busy to read the whole thread) but will the clearance prices be marked on the games or will you need someone to scan the game for the clearance price to show up?

Finally picked up Viewtiful Joe PS2. The game was stickered at 16.xx, and it caused the cashier to do a double-take before announcing the total of 8.44 after tax. =)

If you can't find Onimusha 3 at CC I would suggest visiting TRU. Because the last time I checked, my TRU had several copies of Onimusha 3 for $7.50. ;)

I have a gift card at TRU so that was the first place I looked for the game. All my local TRU's do not have any of them left :(.
 
Champions of Norrath was priced $20 at my Circuit City (it's the only game I checked), but I'm going to say it was because it had the "value game" barcode sticker plastered over the real barcode ... bastards.

About 21 days after the Playstation 2 release. And like all other multi-platform games, the Xbox version is the better of the three.

Well, 4, and I'd have to go with the GC version just because platforming feels cooler on that controller. Graphically they're almost identical as far as I've seen.

Ah yes, I forgot about the PC.

Well graphically, the Gamecube version is only slightly behind the Xbox version, almost identical as you have said. However, the Xbox version also supports Dolby Digital 5.1, where as the Gamecube version only supports Dolby Pro Logic II.

So in the end, the Xbox version is still superior. But Beyond Good & Evil is a fun and imaginative game that is great on any platform.
 
im goin tonight. mine will have everything..or nothing depending on who knows about it. the best buy over that way had about half the games on that .99-9.99 list though so hopefully i can pick up atleast 3-5 games.
 
If anyone scores an extra Gungrave: OD, I would gladly be interested in trading for it...so hopefully I can get something decent at my CC to do that, heh. ^_~ I just love that anime and I know that it is not at my store.

Update: Came back empty-handed. =\ Boo-urns.
 
Was going to buy Gungrave OD but they wouldn't take the McDonalds coupon (they'll match it but not on the clearance games). Bad luck with the clerk. :whistle2:(
 
Stopped by CC on the way home from work. After looking at the game section for 2 seconds I remember why I never go there. Everything is just clumped together by console at the one by my house with no organization. You have to pretty much flip through everygame to see if there is anything worth getting. Plus alot of the games during the last sale and this one have different barcodes stock to the back riniging up different prices. Anything even half decent was ringing up 14.99 or 19.99 since they had a different sku on them...
 
I went to CC - i got all excited because i saw a bunch of 9.99 Value Bin games and thought they would ring up at 2.96......but noooooooooo. All 9.99. I picked up a GunGrave though, and two copies of Collectors Edition of PSone games - Legacy of Kain : Soul Reaver, Blood Omen, and Fighting force.
 
I ended up ordering Beyond Good and Evil for XB used at EB Games for $8 total including tax thanks to my Edge Card, SAVER, and CAG15. Thanks CAG!
 
My Circuit City had a ton of games in a clearance bin sorta thing. I ended up getting Legacy of Kain for $11.96 and Powerdrome for $2.96 (they had numerous copies of both titles). Thanks for the heads up on this one.
