Question: Would drops on Special Editions be markdowns or clearances?
Price ending in .96 is a clearance price, .99 isn't a clearance price.

CC will be out of business soon. It's stock is trading at around .40 per share and it's credit markets have all dried up. I'll be surprised if they are still open when Black friday rolls around.

While I doubt they won't make it to less than 6 weeks from now, their limited ability to get loans for inventory may hurt their 4th quarter and tank them further. They're definitely on what appears to be a last ditch effort to not put them down. They've been on life support for years.

How the hell is Kung Fu Panda still selling for $40 after all this time? I keep waiting for it to drop to $20 like Ratatouille, Cars, and all the others.

Wait after the holiday is over when everyone dumps their free copy from the XBox 360 holiday bundles, assuming you're after the 360 version.
Is there an October CC Clearance listing this month?!
It wasn't big enough to get a new post. Look in the last few pages of the September post. It is pretty unimpressive.
