looks good on mlb for psp... for 27.99

The %25 off is on games that have the cool deals stickers... They must of got those games for like $2 or something. I work at a circuitcity and we got 30 copys of motor cross mania 3, high roller casino, tomb raiders, second sight, fishermans game... we got tons and tons. its about 40 of each for ps2. and for gameboy advance we got old scooby doo, tarzan, namco musem, just a bunch of old gba games so those should be on the sale also..

speaking of Target they suck, I had some giftcard left over there to use. Been to a last couple of Targets no new games like Onimusha 4 Shadow Hearts, Grandia 3 or even RE DS. They really need to get with the release dates. Suprised to find no Oni 4 and RE DS as they are capcom titles.
 
no 199 PSP listed... makes you wonder when they will come out...... i was told by a best buy worker it has been pushed back to the first or 2nd week of APRIL ... Sony will just start to ship them weds... Sony should of shipped them last weds

I have two CCs and two BBs in my area. Neither CC has had GoW for months. Wouldn't be surprised if they were now restocking with the GH version. BB on the other hand had multiple copies (non-GH) at both locations. I picked one up the week the price fell; one week later they were both OOS completely.

So, yeah...YMMV
 
I'll let you guys know the Kingdom Hearts 2 price in the ads: $49.99

No way are they going to let this one go under MSRP, when they can easily sell out at MSRP.

I might finally pick up Ape Escape 3 if that ad is true.
 
If AE3 is showing up at $17.99 this time around, would be nice to get it at this price. PM down from $39.99 would be $15.79 from CC.

I'll have to double-check it when I get my paper on Saturday and if so, it'll be pretty much GH - GGC price. :D
 
ccity carries god of war with just the grestest hits sticker over the plastic same with grand tursimo 4.. So so far no with the sticker on the game cover this is at circuitcity wheaton...

In fact, they're the only place that I'd try to pull this off, since all they have to do for the PM is check their own computer system. It'll show the sale price. BB in the same situation would do a PM, though not PM + 10%, since they never undercut their own prices. Competitor's, yes.

Pick game up before sale, come back after sale and get PM + 10%. Last one I did was for Dungeon Siege II about a month or so ago, when they had it for $14.99. Bought @ $29.99, after PM was $13.49.

That's the most recent one, and I've done it other times in the past, including double PM's in a month's time.

This amuses me because when I checked at BB a month ago, Kingdom Hearts GBA was discontinued.

TRU did this before too with Pokemon Pinball. They discontinued it and dropped to $15 then a few weeks later jacked the price to $20 and had it in the ad as a deal(normally $35 it said) and it was no longer discontinued. So stores do discontinue and then reorder the stuff sometimes.

So are the greatest hits games with the stickers really just the original repackaged? I'm assuming so. I saw GOW at CC today with the sticker, but didn't get it because I wasn't sure if the disc itself had the greatest hits on it or not. I've never bought one of those before.

God, don't get me started on Target... last time I went in there for a sale item they not only didn't have it, they wouldn't give me a raincheck for it because, as the saleswoman says "we don't do rainchecks anymore".

yea its the orignal packaging..... they do this with some games and then they go into the greatest hits packaging.... Its the orginal game but just a sticker over the package.... get it.. Many times sony representives come to bestbuy and circuit city and put these stickers on and they put them on so people would know there are twenty dollars.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I remember when GoW was first announced GH, I knew my CC had at least two copies left and went to get it, and there was nothing there. I thought it'd be a little quick for people to snatch it up already, and I only live a few blocks from CC...but I figured I was out of luck.

Guess they just pulled them and didn't put them back up to now...like 2 weeks later heh. I also see some games from the b2g1 that I was looking back, even though I thought they got bought too.
 
Looks like the OP needs a slight correction. As I thought Ape Escape 3 is on the 27.88 side of the games, and not on the 17.88 side. A decent deal, but not sure many of us will bite at this price.

The second week now this has been the wrong price...dammit....

Ape Escape 3 isn't $17.88, it's $27.88. That little red line from the $27.88 price sticker crosses Ape Escape 3. So, it's $27.88 this week.

I just received my paper for this coming weekend, and I grabbed a pic of it with my camera phone. Sorry for it being a semi-crappy pic, though my scanner and I are having some issues.

good to see that BB is getting Kingdom Hearts 2 a day after ship date. hopefully all retailers get it around the same time since I have a pre-sale at TRU
 
you can still try to PM ape escape at Best Buy. As long as they dont call or check online you might have a chance.
