What happens if you are buying 2 $8.96 PS2 games... does the 2 for 1 deal still apply (making it 2 for $8.96)?

If it does then will they let me return some of the $5.96 and $8.96 clearance titles I recently bought and re-buy them 2-for-1, or will they likely be mean about it and not let me re-buy them after I return them?

It's only PC games.

Dungeon Seige and replacement for lost copy of Battlefield 1942 here I come. Hmmm or maybe Battlefield 1942 collection and Black and White 2. Hmm or Half Life2 episode 1.
 
I was going to make a trip over to CC today to pick up Tiger Woods 06 for PC, but now it looks like I'll have to get BF1942 as well.

I called 2 CC stores to see if they had Battlefields 1942 in stock. Then I asked the price and both said it's $19.99. Has anyone gotten this for $5.99? I'm wondering if this deal is regional or there is some trick?

It might be because it's "Jewel case" version, which is usually scaled-down version of the original game.

I asked the employees at both stores to look in their computers because I thought all versions would show up. Are you saying that the "jewel case" versions won't show up in the computer under "Battlefields 1942" and they are located in another section of the store that the employees in the software section know nothing about?

I mentioned it was possibly a jewel case version but that didn't help them find anything.

Jewel Case version usually is located on a separate rack, under a different UPC. The employee might have overlooked them.
 
I finally went to my local CC, and the employee who regularly works the game section didn't know what the "jewel case section" was. I had to look around for it myself where I found exactly 1 jewel case copy of Battlefield 1942 for $5.99. Also, I saw Tiger Woods 2004 for $5.99 but not 2006. Was the 2006 version supposed to be on sale for $5.99?

In light of the ad for next week which is supposed to be buy 1 get 1 free for PC games under $19.99, I bought several games, including the BF1942 Complete Collection for $19.99. The employee said they would adjust the prices next week if the B1G1F sale was on. That way I can decide on Monday what to keep rather than have to go on Sunday to try to get the 1 and only copy they have of each.

Why not buy it now and price adjust later if it's the only copy?

I did buy all of those games because they only had 1 copy of each. On Monday I'll go back and see about PM'ing using the B1G1F deal. Assuming that deal works out, I'll keep the better BF1942 edition and return the jewel case one.
