Hey guys, we got a new list of games this week for Clearance. I won't be able to post the entire list until Friday(next time I work) but there were some gems in there. If someone has posted this or has the full list, do what you need to with this thread(long time reader, first time posting a thread like this)

Here is what I can remember(I'll add more games as I remember them until I get the list):

OKAMI PS2 $16.96

I stil need to pick up Okami but the Wii version is coming out next year. Maybe I should just wait for the port

some good deals in there thank op
Thanks OP. There are a couple games in there that draw my interest.
Ditto. Thanks for the heads up Donnums. Now if only CC had more of those $20 4gb memory sticks...

I'm waiting for Okami on the Wii, otherwise I would pick it up.

I'll probably pick up Metal Slug. I'm thinking Bullet Witch may not be worth it even at the clearance price.

I've played through Okami thoroughly, and recommend it with all my heart and soul. However, holding out for the Wii version is not a bad move.

As for Bullet Witch - it's really not worth $17, have you read any of its reviews? Get it when it hits the $5 bin where it belongs; that is, if you really want it.

I got Bullet Witch when it first came out. $16 is ALMOST worth it...if you don't mind bearing with its problems. Graphics are "eh", environments are huge and open with almost nothing going on most of the time...A.i. is bad, the other weapons you have are just about useless.. but the spells are awesome and it has a decent physics engine and it IS a somewhat fun mindless shooter. There were glitches...the last boss took FOREVER to beat(he had a lot of health..).

It's a strictly average game that could've been awesome if it had a lot more development time.

I've never heard much positive feedback about BW - aside from the ability to dress the main character like a slutty schoolgirl or a slutty mahou shoujo - but mindless shooters are always a good time in my book. Still, you can get EDF at that price +2 bucks.

BTW, why isn't Okami at the top of the list?! No way does it deserve 2nd place. Otherwise, way to go on your first post!

Anyone know if we can buy the games today and have the price match the day of or after the sale? I know with sale prices you usually can but I'm not so sure about clearance...

I've never had trouble price adjusting with clearance stuff. I haven't done it much, but I guess the only important thing to note is to keep them unopened - you know, just in case. Oh, and obviously, hang on to the receipt.

Yeah, I remember the outfits. I never got any of them but I remember people getting ridiculously upset over not having them right away.

And if it came down to EDF or BulletWitch....EDF hands down. I bought EDF the day it came out and I absolutely love it..and Okami will be at the top of the list :). I only remembered it that way because the list was alphabetical.

Oh, COME ON, Circuit City.

Why do you have to start clearancing out things I actually want as soon as I have a distinct lack of money?

Thanks. I guess either way - like you said - if it's still sealed they'd have to take it back, then I could just take it and rebuy it right in front of them (I've done it before at BB )

If this holds true to previous clearances then thoes prices SHOULD already be downloaded into the system and you could get it at that price today.

I noticed Elite Beat Agents, Custom Robo, and Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time were all $16.96 on their site as well.

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time went clearance a few weeks ago.

Okami has been off the site for a few weeks so I wonder if it already went on sale in November..

Gah im so broke right now. If anyone snags one of those copies of Okami feel free to CML ;)

Thanks

thanks op
it is oging to be difficult not to pick up anything from this list.....
I would love to get lunar knights
bullet witch
trauma center
metal slug......
ill just have to see what my bonus looks like......
it was a whole $50 last year!!!! yeah! (EXTREME SARCASM)

im leaving to grab some of these games including okami. i will report back if they are 16.96

btw, parappa for psp is so-so. not as good as the ps1 version. heck if youre psp is hack then i'd play the ps1 version instead. but it does have a versus mode which i never really tried since i played the JP version of the game.
Good list. If I didn't already own Okomi and the Metal Slug Anthology I would be getting those.
saw metal slug anthology for wii at target for $28 then came down to $19 but didn't pick up. how is the game?

Metal Slug Anthology will be mine. My son and I had a great time playing through one of them on coop when we rented it.

Nice.
It is about time Okami got a price drop.
Hopefully, I can find a copy of it along with Metal Slug Anthology.
thanks op!

EDF is orders of magnitude better than Bullet Witch could ever hope to be. I rented Bullet Witch through GameFly for one day and I still felt ripped off. :(

I'm holding off on Okami for the enhanced Wii port but it's a must-buy at that price, along with Tomb Raider Legend 360 and Trauma Center for no one that has it yet!

Luckily the Wii port of Okami has been announced, or I would have immediately jumped on this. Might check into Metal Slug Anthology, that's a good price for it.

ye after knowing that okami is coming out for the wii...im gonna wait...despite my excitement level to play this game being soooo high...wait...I HAVE NO PS2 o_O
