Hey guys, we got a new list of games this week for Clearance. I won't be able to post the entire list until Friday(next time I work) but there were some gems in there. If someone has posted this or has the full list, do what you need to with this thread(long time reader, first time posting a thread like this)


Here is what I can remember(I'll add more games as I remember them until I get the list):

Metal Slug Anthology is a GREAT BUY at that price. You get 7 games! They are all pretty similar but if you like insane button mashing side shooters, this is a great collection.

I think I'm going to wait for Wii Okami. But I would like to check out Elebits and Trauma Center.

I've been waiting for "Lunar Knights" to drop. Definitely going to have to go get that ASAP.

I'm going to have to find a sealed Okami for my collection and a new Trauma Center, then sell/trade in my stupid cart-only one.

Nothing I've seen so far. The only thing similar coming up is 25% certain(maybe all?) "Cool Deals" games. Those are basically anything $14.99 or less. Not necessarily things like "$4.96"; those are difference because they are discontinued stock. Games like Half Life 2 on XBox or Guilty Gear Judgement are eligle for that 25% off promo.
 
See this is why I want the full list before I head out. I had a feeling about Kororinpa and would have checked that. I wonder what else there is? I really hope I can find these $15 off coupons because it definitely looks like I can find 6 games I want.

I was going to wait as well, but I gave in and went out today. Now I have to go back and look for Elebits. Every time there is a decent clearance I end up making multiple trips.

Don't yell at me but I forgot about Okami. (I don't believe it)
At least now when I go back I'll grab Elebits and maybe that marble one.
I had my fingers crossed that there wouldn't be any more clearences till after xmas. Oh well someones getting less stuff cause I'm getting more.

There should be some around the store, usually by the customer service desk. So you shouldn't need a copy.

Yeah, people always say that and then I can never find any and the employees don't have any idea what I'm talking about when I ask. They think they are only given out via mail to special customers or some such nonsense. I hope I can find one tonight though. I decided I'd hit up one store tonight, and then maybe the 2 others tomorrow when the list is (hopefully) more complete.
 
For what it's worth, my store didn't have anything marked yet, they were all still on the shelf.

They were out of Metal Slug (argh), but I picked up Parappa, which I've been meaning to do anyway.


Also... Yakuza went on clearance a while back, right? They had like 6 copies still on the rack for $40. I thought it was strange.

Was browseing the threads on my lunch break this morning and ran across this one. Needless to say I finished eating and headed straight for the nearest CC.

Picked up the last copy of Metal Slug Anthology. Made myself walk away from everything else. :)

Though now that the list has expanded a bit I may have to head back over tomarrow.

sometimes i get caught up on CAG when I should be playing typing of the dead. i'm a peckster and cap lock excercises sometimes helps me express indivduality and creates the illusion that i am moving faster than 30 wd per min.

so is GODHAND any good or what? and i cannot stress more to take any and every 05-06 title you may think you want to register for price check. there were still many mismarks, but games i already own or for platforms for which i am less motivated.
 
I'd be all over Okami & Tomb Raider 360 if I didn't already have way too many games to play. Must....resist...!

I actually managed to find two copies of Okami, though I only picked up one. If it's still there tomorrow, I may pick the other one up. I also got Full Auto 2 and Elite Beat Agents.

Shrike, I believe you had wanted someone to pick up Full Auto 2 if you couldn't find it? If the other copy is still there, and my friends don't want it, I could probably go ahead and do that for you.
 
Dang, Circuit City outdid themselves this month! I sure hope mine has Lunar Knights, it was there the last time I visited.
 
Picked up Okami, Project Slypheed (eh, shooter for $17, might as well), and Metal Slug, thanks OP!

About that $15 off of 100 coupon, anyone have a scan? Could I just bring my receipt back and have them adjust it or do I have to return the stuff and rebuy it with the coupon?
 
Oh and to anyone that's passing up Okami...why? Not that I care whether or not you play the game, but you realize that if you don't like it you can resell it USED for $30-40 on Amazon and ebay, right?

If anyone wants a copy of Parappa, I got an extra for one of you guys. I'm really looking for Okami, but anything decent I can work a trade for.

will buy EBA in the next week or so if i have any spare money

i don't even have a ps2 right now, but i'lm planning on getting another one
okami for $17 is a steal :p
 
God Hand is something special...it feels like the worst game in existence until you realize the big in-joke you're a part of, and then realize that the combat is a blast.

I'd love to have Okami, but they don't have it here at my local CC
 
Dang! Was Bullet Witch really so bad that it's ALREADY $17? I had hoped it wasn't that terrible........now I'm not even sure if it's worth the $17 :lol:

That should be a sign that yes, it really is that bad.

I went to CC to pick up Lunar Knights, picked it up and then hesitated, put it down and left. I just couldn't justify it for $17.xx (after taxes). I'm kinda relieved, that's $17 saved.

From what i hear its not even worth the $7 to rent it, let alone $17 to own it.

God Hand has humor going for it and that's about it.

The combat system is garbage unless you are fighting ONLY 1 enemy and that hardly ever happens, the camera is garbage, the guy you play as controls like a tank. I really wanted to like it but couldn't.

Mannnn I went there in hoped for buyin Okami, Metal Slug and Elite Beats but none of them were there...I ended up gettin Fable:LC for 8 bucks...retty good, I've been wantin it =]D... Is it because the clearance isnt suppose to be out till tomorrow or just because they don't have the games anymore?
