Thanks for the heads up. I've been looking for a reason to steal use my gf's DS, and here it is for $12. Going to p/u tomorrow. Might be a let down from Civ IV on here, but has good reviews.
 
It is just as good as the console versions. Not as good as Civ 4, but considering that this game can be played on the toliet, its totally worth the full price, let alone $12.
 
Yea, it really does a good job of making civ4 play on the DS, and to say civ4 was good is a vast understatement. i didnt think i would like it but it kind of drags you in until you pull yourself away.
 
I thought that the DS port of this title was respectable in every way. Got mine for $20 at release--it's a steal at this price. Thanks!
 
Got this 4 months ago. It's been at that price for a while. You should note that you can match this in store at a B&M. Thats how I got mine.

Also, is this the same game as Civ Rev on the Xbox?
 
How is it on DS compared to the home consoles? I have it for 360 and love it, and I'd love to have it to play on the go if it can come close to approximating the experience.

It's somewhat the same, but optimized to play on the DS, everything is 2D top-down view. It's kind of like taking the 360 one and making it like Civ2. I got both and actually kind of prefer this over the 360 one.

For $12 you should get it.
 
I didn't like the 360 demo, not sure what that means for this.

Amazon has it (for me) for the same price of $15, but then I look and see I could buy Civ 4 for $18, or the complete thing for $35ish, and...I don't know what to do, and will probably continue doing nothing :lol:

civ4 is one the best games in recent memory (2005, do be exact). the complete package is a great, great deal, and the game isnt dated at all.
 
Thanks! That's scary it came out in 2005...to me it seems brand new. :shock:

This is why I'm not one of the people in that thread demanding Amazon deliver a game by launch day :lol:
 
Gah, wish they'd drop the price on Civilization Revolution for other consoles -- my local Best Buy has had it sitting for 360 and PS3 at $40 forever.

It's $28 on Amazon, and I'm sure it can be found cheaper if you look around some.
