Yeah Peach Wilkins he was/is guarding the door. He wanted me to get the camera and get three pictures to be able to get into the place. I got the camera and then saved and went to bed seeing as it was 6AM lol. I am glad to know I have a ways to go as I am loving what I have played thus far. I just started it up last night after I got home from my shitty date, have had it since Friday but wasn't in a mood to play it until last night. Well thanks for letting me know I have a ways to go, I actually prefer the longer single player story modes around 15-20 hrs suits me just fine.

We were immediately impressed with the visual quality of the game. The effort put into the character models and environments are evident, though there are occasional framerate drops. (We only noticed one framerate dip during the 20 minute play through and it was over within a second or two.) The detail in the graphics is most obvious when your dragon belly is scraping along the ground, or across the ocean.

As far as gameplay goes, we only had a chance to play a flying section, but it was very enjoyable. The SixAxis controls felt great -- which surprised us, since the controls had received the most negative press. Flying around as a dragon was incredibly satisfying as we could feel the weight of the creature when swooping down or pulling up further into the sky. It reminded us of the old DOS game Magic Carpet in how you had to compensate for momentum, lest you fly much further than intended.

Anyway, I mostly played some DDR SuperNOVA 2 and Viruta Tennis 3. I'll probably play my PSP before bed time. Once I finish my Hot PXL PSP preview and get 50% of my project complete, I'll start playing some more games.
 
i've been playing mlb 07 the show again on my psp since it keeps me company during my downtime on campus. other than that, fixing to fire up persona 3 again.
 
Do I want to hang out with my friend, or go to practice?

Ah, the dilemmas of Persona 3. I dunno why real school life can't be interesting like this...
 
I'm realizing that it's going to take at least another 20ish hours to really do everything in FFX. I'm not even sure that's worth it. I'd get my arse kicked by Sin right now though if I tried.
 
I'm currently playing Bioshock. I think I'm nearing the end of the game.

Hopefully I'll finish it before Blue Dragon is out in a couple days.

ya i put like 20 something hours into FFX last week, but now that class has started I haven't had time to pick it up again. :roll:
 
I want some more persona time but with work/class/girlfriend/bioshock i have only been able to get in around 7 hours in 2 weeks.

Someone help me get some more time into this game.

Now that the release date for LAIR has been pushed up to Friday, my life has gotten that much better.

All games should be released on a Friday, that way it comes out right when the weekend starts.

Quit your job, drop out of school, dump your girlfriend, dedicate lots of time and effort to bioshock so you can finish it quickly (after all, don't want to skimp on responsibility) and voila, you'll have lots of time :)

put two more hours into persona 3 during my downtime between classes today. and I'll definately be playing it some more tonight.

I'm alternating between charging confidently into the omega dungeon in FFX, coming within moments of death before winning a battle, getting a fuckton of AP, then running to suckle from the teat of the save point near the entrance. Really effective way of leveling up characters.

Does anyone think that it would be good to merge the "CAG pick up thread" with this thread, so people can post their purchases along with the games they're playing?

I got Metroid Prime 3 today, and found a GameCube copy of Beyond Good And Evil for $12, and Silent Hill 2 GH for $7 at gamecrazy.

I finally started to play Persona 3. I will say that I absolutely love the game, so far. Problem is, since I'm super hyped for Warhawk now, I may not play it all that much. :( On PS3, I played Piyotama and improved my high score. I'm liking the game more now.

Played some Lumines II on PSP also.

Yeah, its awesome.

I played it for a few hours at a friends house. Makes me want a Wii, but with all the other games coming out for the rest of the year I don't think I can afford it :lol:
 
Yeah, Prime 3 gets an A+.

I realized something, that I was shooting to the extreme left and then extreme right of my field of vision, and realized that's something I would never be able to do in a dual stick FPS. I avoided almost anything about the game and am glad for it. It's so good.

I realized I had a free game rental that was going to expire in 2 days so I picked up Stuntman on the 360. Man it's hard as fuck but not as bad as the original. It's one of those games that are good because of how hard it is... plus this is the only genre of car driving games that I can enjoy.

It's only 10pm and I'm tired as fuck. And I'm only in my mid-twenties. Anyway, I'm glad my commute is short so I'm still able to beat games in a decent amount of time.

Back on topic: I got Metroid Prime 3 today! So I'm playing that and Phoenix Wright & Rune Factory at work/in the bathroom/before I go to bed.
 
I'm trying to decide if I should pick up Metroid, the only reviews I heard of it (not from reviewers, but from forum members here), have been from super fans who would gush over it anyways.

Since whoknows enjoyed it, I know he isn't biased towards Nintendo, it would seem like I would.
