Lol like Gears much?
it's not that I like gears, but i'm trying to 1) become a good online player and 2) get the onilne only achievements.
Did you ever play an AX machine? The way the cabinet rotated and tilted was great. A local bar/restaurant/arcade had one here for a while and I played it every chance I got.
I wish I could find one again. I still have my Blood Falcon game card.

Got through the 2nd full moon on Persona 3. Died the first time, but it pissed me off that I had to go through all the cutscenes again. Is there a way to fast forward through all the dialog? I mean without waiting for the conversation to come up and hitting X all the time.

Still loving the game though!!

hoping to get some good handheld action in today at work. other than that, I have my colleges first football game at 6 after I get off of work (texas A&M). so there will probably be no other gaming until tonight.

Hmm.... as good as Persona 3 is, I'm putting it on hold. Why? Because Metroid Prime is far more important. I'm starting 3 after I cook up some brats on the grill. Mmm mmm mothafucka.

Chacrana, I'm trying to PM you to add me on Wii for metroid, trading vouchers and such, but everytime I try to send the PM it asks me to sign in again, and then won't send the message, so you're getting it here.. Anybody else who wants to add me, do so too.

On the main Wii menu, there's two icons on the bottom left of the screen, choose the 2nd one, then choose the farthest right option from there, and click register. There's some cool stuff in MP3 that you can only unlock by trading friend vouchers . You get them for every 100 kills in the game.

Man, Prime 3 is so good. Kinda bummed that I opted to get Bioshock when I did (other than the fact that I got it for $10 off) as I'm far more interested in making progress in Prime than BS.

That being said, they're pretty different. Maybe my mood has just been leaning towards Metroid puzzles rather than BS' storyline deducing.

So my mom played LAIR with the Sixaxis and did just fine, and this is the first time I've ever seen her play a game.

I really don't know what to say about the reviewers bitching about the controls after that.

Tonight, I have a choice between continuing Final Fantasy III or Skies of Arcadia, or starting Metroid Prime 3. My PS2 might need some lovin' too, haven't popped anything in that since I finished Rogue Galaxy a month ago. Until I decide to start playing, not sure how that choice will be made.

Heh, probably not the answer :p

I was mainly showing her my new sound setup and what better game than LAIR to show it off?

Then I showed her how it controlled and she seemed surprised so I let her try. She did the first level where you're just flying through rings and then most of the first mission until she said she has no time to play and left :p

Besides that, I'm pretty far in the game I think and haven't had much problem. IDK...I think one reviewer decided to give it low scores so the rest followed.

Playing Bioshock and the demo for World in Conflict. God I can't wait for WiC to come out so I can play more than one freaking map.

I am close to 6 hour into Persona 2 and really diggin it!!

but I am getting a lot of help from gamefaqs, particularly the "Contacts Guide" which walks you thru talking to demons (and getting stuff from them)

I'm getting too old for games man... I cant enjoy them like I used to... I need me them guides

finally got a gamecube in my room. I think i'm going to start tales of symphonia since I bought it a month ago and never got to play it.

Finally beat The Darkness after having it since release.

The ending was good, but
Paulie didn't die as good as I would have liked

Now as much as it pains me, I'm going to go ahead and do the last level in LAIR. Guess I could always replay some of the levels since I think I'll be left wanting more.

You're fucking kidding me.... You already beat Lair/are about to beat it? How the hell man you play it non stop for two days or what? Damn I haven't even got it yet but wow, you flew through it. Did you enjoy it man? What would you rate it out of 10? Compared to Drakengard, better or worse?
A game worse than Drakengard!? Surely you jest!

I actually liked Drakengard though. Well the first one, the second one wasn't as good IMO.

I pretty much started playing from when I got it and stayed up pretty late playing and then played for most of the day today.

I'm really really enjoying it. The 4's and 5's it is getting are fucking jokes.

If I rated it out of 10 I'd give it at least an 8, but really I think it's awesome.

And better than Drakengard IMO. The story is better, the battles are HUGE. It's just all around awesome :D

Nice man, it made you get a surround sound system so it must be awesome. Well the music anyway  Thanks for giving me your input man. I will probably get it sometime this week or next week when I pick up Heavenly Sword. ;)

I finished Rogue Galaxy after 44 hours last night. Beisdes VC Paper Mario, It was the only console RPG I actually sat and beat this year (the last one was Shadow Hearts last September).

I'm gonna finally tackle the original Metroid Prime and then Echoes to get me pumped for when I get Corruption.

Retro are geniuses. MP3 gives me the same excitement to play it and explore new areas that I got 15 years ago with the original Super Metroid. All the games in the Prime series have been like that, but MP3 is the strongest in level design yet. I cannot wait to see what these guys will do with some original IP.

I beat Bioshock and am now playing Blue Dragon. I have Warhawk and MP3 being ignored. I like the other two, but Blue Dragon has me sucked right in.

ya, that is how the holiday season is going to be for most of us. To many good games and not enough time to play them.

Beat LAIR.

I loved it. Reviewers are way way off with the 4's and 5's.

I'll be replaying some of the levels. The scale of the levels/battles are awesome.

FFIV on GBA, Taiko no Tatsujin on DS, and I should really be playing DQVIII or Phantom Brave on PS2, but I'm not. Strikers on the Wii, and Paper Mario for like the 4th time so I can them go on to Paper Mario 2.

let's make it more interesting... I'm playing this:
How do you like it? I liked the original despite the loading times and difficulty pissing me off constantly.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about frickin' Hotel Dusk. Is it worth buying? I know that a buncha people thought it was legit back in January or whatever, but maybe it was just cool back then and now it's stupid or something?

whoever is playing hotel dusk or has yet to: suck it bitch play that desk humping peice of awesome right away! still game of the year for me. fuck yeah!

__hotel_dusk__kyle_hyde_by_sin_claire.jpg

jekki... it gets alot better down the line... initially it's slow...

oh and stuntman ignition is actually almost the same first game with basically all the bad parts of it taken out. If you fuck up, you can still pass (heck, I missed almost all the director requests and still got a 5 star rating on one level). Loading is imediate... no waiting... It's pretty damn good of a follow up for the first game.

I played GHII and ForzaII Last night...GRAWII campaign the night before...Hopefully tonight my co-workers won't flake and we'll do the co-op GRAWII thing tonight.

So the two of you Lair people really like it? Or is this some cruel Intertubes joke to get me to get a bad game? >_
