Hmm...I see a conflict with pictures and me putting "Sold Out" for them. I might have to rethink this.
You dont need to put/indicate sold out. Perhaps make your post say Following New Rewards became available on X date - Stock not guaranteed - or something - and leave it at that. Or use nintendo sold out image.
Thanks again for your hard work.

Well if they're in the OP, they're available. But I guess if you click the link you'll find out they're sold out. Then people can just get angry at me :S

Hey, finally over 1000 posts. We've made the big time!

Just put a disclaimer over everything saying quantities may change.

Also under the Mario fan descrip there is this note
"• Due to the popularity of this item, supplies are being replenished. Please check back for availability."

Might as well open it now then.

Good timing on DKCR. Was in my Gold Box today for $45.xx and got my $10 credit from Kirby so $35 OOP. That's likely the last 2 new games I get this year. On the fence about getting Epic Mickey from Amazon.

Was I supposed to get a $10 credit for buying it at Amazon? I didn't get one, and I don't remember seeing it advertised.

They had it advertised with a $10 promo credit a few days ago. It's since been pulled.

Likely they were just matching the $10 GC TRU had (minus the free guide).

You didn't actually read the ad did you?

Kirby and Fallout both had a $10 GC and the guide for free when you bought them.

This is why you don't ask the people anything unless you have problems at the register. That said, I saw the Kirby guide at Walmart and can understand why it was offered free. It looks pretty cheaply made (and I sure as hell wouldn't pay more than about $5 for it).

I was going to buy it at K-mart, but they were sold out. On the way home, I drove past a TRU that had just opened, so i stopped in for it. I was caught off guard by the $10 giftcard.

Don't know if this was already posted in the thread, but new prizes it seems for NA. Mario commemorative pins and a screensaver.

So, with my having registered Kirby's Epic Yarn and the I2B bonus and the 10 coin bonus for registering early after the game's release, I now have 590 coins for the year already.

Sweet. Just gotta do the post-play survey in a week and I'll officially be Platinum for 2010-2011.

From Nintendo.
Hello,

We wanted to let you know that we are preparing to begin shipping
the 2010 Elite Status Rewards!

We had thousands of loyal Nintendo fans reach Elite Status last June
and it is going to take us a couple of weeks to ship all the orders.

So, even though your friends or neighbors may receive their Reward
before you do, please be assured that your order is being processed too!

You will receive another email when your reward order ships.

Thank you for your interest and excitement and we hope you enjoy your
Club Nintendo Elite Status Reward.

Sincerely,

Nintendo of America Inc.
Consumer Service Department
Just got an email that Nintendo is preparing to ship Elite rewards. That little figurine will likely find a home on my entertainment center.
Mine will find a home on eBay methinks.

Oh, don't get me wrong. Mine will probably eventually find a home on eBay, but I'll enjoy it for a year or so. ;)
dang I guess I wont be getting my Figurine in the first shipment :(

because I didnt get an email :(
This line:

Actually makes it sound like if you didn't get an email you'd get yours first.

I'm sure your email is on the way though. They put that statement in there so they didn't have to match up emails to items shipped.
So...anybody buy the screensaver?
Yep. For 10 coins, why not?

Is it simply a .ZIP or something?

Yep. A zipped folder with the install file included inside. Pretty basic.

The screensaver isn't anything special. You get small screens moving towards the monitor, each with a different clip of Mario games being played. A nice sort of retrospective of the series and interesting enough screen saver... but not something I could recommend highly.

On the other hand, you earn 10 coins for any WiiWare or Virtual Console post-play survey. So it's not exactly a serious investment with high expectations. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Didn't get an email from Nintendo yet, here's hoping for mine in the next shipment

Edit: Woohoo just got my confirmation email =D

For people that got elite, how many games did you guys buy? All the Nintendo release throughout the year?

The only other game I'll probably get is Mario anniversary this year.

Nintendo grandfathered all of my pre-registered games into the program. I haven't bought a lot of games for my Wii or DS for a year or 2, but I've got tons of stuff to complete surveys for still.

I didn't register anything new last year... or the year before that... and probably not this year.

In hindsight- it probably makes more sense to do "intent to buy" surveys, and register only those titles.

I got an email that they are preparing my order, so sweet! I should expect it within the next month or so. :p

I'm actually enjoying this year's reward, it looked pretty cool and I know where I'm putting it. :D It can go up there with my Mario hat and some other crap I have lol

EDIT: Heh, just noticed I'm only 50 coins away from Platnium for next year. Man, I buy too much Nintendo crap. I guess once I hit the 50 coins, no more registering till next year.

Are you willing to post the screensaver somewhere so us CAG's can save our coins? You took one for the team :D

So my fan arrived today from Club Nintendo. I ordered the pink Animal Crossing fan with faces of the different characters. I have to say, it's a bit of a let down.

The fan is cute and comes with a nice holder. Unfortunately it's also very small, uses very thin paper, and just feels cheap. I'm comparing this to some beautiful fans that we recently brought back from visiting China - but maybe it's not a fair comparison because those fans were pretty high quality and cost more than what Nintendo prizes likely do.

In retrospect, I would've rather spend my points on something else. Probably the playing cards (which I already ordered and was happy with) or posters or anniversary pin, although all of those prizes are more expensive.

Sorry. Not my MO to share digital content that way.
