In for the new Zelda posters once the site comes back. I knew they had to put something Zelda-related up. Got my pins too, and pleasantly surprised. They look nice, and the packaging is super-sweet. Only complaint is I wish the pins were a bit smaller, but seeing as the packing is so nice I wouldn't ever open them to use them anyway so, no major loss. I like the idea of them adding downloads as rewards, I'm sure I'll be using that eventually as I already have nearly all of the ones that are listed currently.

I think I'll pick up Fluidity, I've been meaning to for a while but haven't gotten around to it. Good to see Nintendo doing something different with Club Nintendo.
That is correct. They're apparently going to be rotating games as well.
Very cool!

Fluidity and Xevious will be mine :whistle2:D
the club nintendo site is/has changed for some very interesting results.

#1 - the skyward sword 3-poster set is now available
#2 - you can apparently use coins earned for digital downloads (examples: Super mario kart and 3d classics: Xevious)
#3 - a lot of other rewards are available as well

the site is chugging badly right now, so i'll update it when i can.
:D Oh yeah! Thanks for the news!

The site is back up...but nothing's changed. And the rewards aren't there. =\

Yea, was just about to say. Kinda weird.

Fireworks fan is sold out, besides that the only other thing that changed was that the fans are all separate items on the rewards page.

You can use coins to buy games that will net you more coins... :hot:

They must be working out bugs or something. i was able to log in earlier, and saw the stuff mentioned. I almost cashed in a Mario vs DK, but it said it was for 3DS only, and specifically not for DSi, DSL, etc.

I was told that it was poorly written so it had to be reverted for the time being, meaning everything new got taken down.

Finally got my Platinum Reward. Great item that was larger than I was expecting.

The site came back up earlier today, but it had no updates. I'm dying for SMK myself.

Nintendo website coders need to get better at seamless transitioning. Site's still the same. :(

Yeah, I think at some point they decided it was best to 'rollback' to their last backup, than to work on getting the new content up.
That said, not purchasing anything with my coins, since the teased items sound a lot better than what's there.

Under the Club Nintendo news for today it says "New rewards and games available for Coins coming soon. Please stay tuned!"

Can't wait now that I just got more coins from finishing those post surveys for the Ambassador games. Damn that sucked, but got to love free coins.

Yea I have no issues getting in. New notice on the sidebar.

12-09-11 New rewards and games available for Coins coming soon. Please stay tuned
is the site working for some people?
Not for me. It hasn't been working since I first heard about the new gifts.

Ah ha. That's how you get in at the moment. Nothing I want to buy now, but I wanted to do some surveys. Thank you!

I was having the same issue with my bookmarked link, so I tried going straight to the club nintendo site, that sent me to the maintenance page as well. Then I went to the main page of this thread and clicked one of the reward links which let me in, went back to the club nintendo home page using the link through the working end and swapped my bookmark with that.

No problem guys :)

Thanks for that link! I was just checking my to do lists and I had a survey expiring today! Glad you provided that link, or I would have missed out on those 10 coins. Just need 100 more for platinum status!

Got my pins in a couple days ago. Very relieved to see they didn't suffer any damage in the mail. Why they chose to ship in a bubble mailer is beyond me.
Got my pins, I'm mildly impressed, though I wish the pins were a bit heavier. The paper boxes tempt me to make wood versions of them.
I demand immediate notification if this is ever done.

Sweet that they offer downloadable games now! Prolly gonna get Mini's March Again.

When do coins reset? (ie, with all the points we'll be getting free from Ambassador GBA games, is it worth registering the NDS games I've bought recently, or should I hold off to use the points next year)

The fact that the downloadable games expire on Jan. 10 gives me hope this will be an ongoing and rotating thing. I'm extremely excited about that.

Placed orders for both the Zelda poster set (mainly for the 25th Anniversary one) and Xevious.
Meh, on these pins. I still wish they would just let us buy exclusive stuff at a slight discount. Something like limited edition controllers or consoles.
If you look at the cool stuff the Japanese club members get, it just makes you shake your head when we get these 'pins'...
I agree with you. If you haven't voiced your complaint/request to Nintendo, I suggest that you do so in their web form:

http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/webform.jsp

If they don't hear from you, they won't change.

The pin set only seems to be going for about $13 on ebay. And it's probably less for me with my crushed boxes. I'd rather just keep it.

Thanks for the reminder on the expiring surveys. I had 10 or so to do. I hope I didn't lose out on any though.

So, the update is all live and such... and I don't like it.

Actually, I do - except for one thing. How come there's no year on the expiration of my "To-Do" list items?

I know I went through and finished everything up from this year, but I had several items in there (51, to be exact) that I haven't done and I'm waiting to do (some don't expire until 2015). Without a year listed, I have no way of knowing when I need to do them.

I can only assume this was done on purpose.

In for the poster set, it looks sweet :D

Edit: Looks like the animal crossing fan has been removed.
And the Mario Hat game case holder is gone as well.

Updated OP

Yeah, having the same issues. I hit Platinum a month after the new Club Nintendo year started, and I'm saving these surveys up to apply for next year. By removing the year, I can't tell if any of them were expiring soon. Damn you, Nintendo.

Grabbed Super Mario Kart and Mario V DK Mini March.

Did anyone notice that the confirmation emails you receive state that they should of costed 80 coins instead of 100 and 150 coins a piece. Must be a typo.

With the Zelda posters... is there any indication as to what the 'special printing effect' is?

As in, is there actually something different from the Mario and DK sets, or is it just marketing speak?
