The 21st has come and gone and the post play survey is still there. I think it is safe to assume that all of the surveys still have the same expiration dates and years that they did before the redesign. So I guess that's at least two more years of platinum status for me, yay!
Yeah, but the problem is how do you know what the years are? I have some that I let go and they are still there. But I also had some early reg bonus ones that I let go and while they stayed for a week or two afterwards, they are now gone. So keep in mind they might not go away immediately once the due date is past.

I got that email as well, was wondering what that was all about... Glad someone posted a picture, I didn't feel like dragging those back out just to see what the problem was - I might not have ever noticed. Good on Nintendo for sending out replacements without ever even receiving a complaint!

I got the same email. Are we only getting that 1 new replacement? You'll think the flawed one may be collectable one day, due to it being a mistake and probably be more limited than the correct one?

only if they bring back the posters... though who wants a flawed poster?

Same reason 3 legged buffalo nickels would cost you the 4th leg.

I'm thinking they maybe took them down because of the printing error, I wouldn't be surprised to see them back up soon.

minted money vs printed posters?

There's no reason.

Limited edition + misprint = potential increased value. It all depends on the demand, and how many of these misprints were shipped out before it was noticed.

Hm, I hope they put those posters back up in the shop after they mail out all the corrected ones. I'd still like to get my hands on a set -- misprint or not.

Oops, so much for snagging all of those games - totally forgot about it. Did they finally put up deadlines on them? They weren't there when I first looked. I did get Dr. Mario and Xevious, though - those were in the latest group, right? I guess I just didn't get the Zelda game but I wasn't sure I even wanted that (it's just that I'd never play it - I still have yet to start Skyward Sword or the DS Zeldas).

Isn't Art Academy supposed to be good?

Expiration Dates for these new games are Feb.29th

And Art Academy is supposed to be good. Or maybe that's Art Style. I don't know.

I never owned Mario Party 2... but I feel like I may never play this.... decisions decisions....

I have too many DSiWare games on my 3DS. They require the systems internal memory, and cannot be loaded from an SD card, so space is an issue as Art Academy First Semester is 112 blocks. Blah..
Oooooh I'm liking the 3DS/DS game card case. In for one.
Concurred, in for one, if I like, I may get a second to give as a gift.

Mario Party 2 and 3 of the DS/3DS game cases for me and my boys. I'll order a 4th for my wife once I enter more points. This works out perfectly for me with the 4 different covers.

Hey OP. If you could post a spoiler tag with the previously offered games (and dates if you really want), I'd appreciate it. Can't find a complete list anywhere, and it just helps to know what's already been offered. They really did drop the ball by limiting the amount of titles offered (and certainly the quality), but it makes more sense this way. I also prefer to save my coins so I can last 'till the Coins refresh in the summer. Pissed I missed out on Kirby's Dreamland and Majora's Mask though, no brainers. Mario Party 2 is meh in comparison.

Well, I just checked my account and I still have my Glory of Heracles (Jan. 18 registration - must be for ITB) and my Endless Ocean (Jan. 21 +50 point survey - this is one I reg'd before they even had points so I still have the survey pending). So I can put those two off till next club year at least. I still wish I had years on everything though.

Given that I'm only 90 points from platinum for this year I'd really rather not do any that I don't have to. I can probably get that 90 just from the surveys for the games I end up getting from the monthly coin redemption deals.

But I have a few other older games out there, like +30 product registration for Brain Age, and a +10 post-play survey for SSBB.

Yeah, I noticed this. Why!? This is going to make me think twice about getting some of these games. I may pass on Art Academy because of that. Sure, you can delete and redownload (right?) but that is just kind of a pain.

I'll have to check out this game case, though. My son's 3DS games are just laying loose on my desk. There's gotta be a better solution than that ;).

The other option is to copy it to the SD card. You can't load it from there or see it in the menu, but at least it's quicker than downloading it again. Personally I've decided I'm done with DSiWare once I use up the 500 points remaining on my DSi as the space limitations just make it unmanageable.
I wonder if I can possibly get lucky enough for them to add Art Academy: Second Semester next month for purchase with Club Nintendo points...
I doubt it would be next month, but it would be the prize eventually.

Could you let me know what you think of the First Semester? Is it worth it??

As someone who doesn't know the first thing about art, I found it entertaining. The first lesson has you draw an apple, and it helps you learn a little about lighting. The second lesson has you paint a very simple sunset. I think the third lesson you draw a tree, then the fourth a pear. It's all very basic, so if you know a thing or two about art, you'll likely find it mind-numbing. I found it to be a nice introductory course that piqued my interest in delving into different art forms.

Also, this version is superior to the retail DS release of the game. In this version, you can save your drawings/paintings to the SD card and thus share them. With the retail version, there's no save option.

It's gotta be some foolish way of preventing piracy, although anyone who really wanted to do that would simply crack the firmware. It really is annoying, considering that they already have a fix for this on Wii.

I don't think it is about piracy since if they wanted to prevent piracy they wouldn't allow you to copy the game to the SD card. I think it's just bad design. Even the 'fix' for the Wii doesn't allow you to play games from the SD card, it just automates the process of copying files to the system memory before playing them. It is too bad they couldn't at least provide the same 'fix' for playing DSiWare games on the 3DS.
3DS case just showed up, pretty much a regular case with swappable covers and spaces for games all along both sides.
Yes but the Mario and Luigi cover just makes it spectacular. It just makes you want to fill it with games. Totally worth 250 coins :)

edit: only sad thing is there is no cover of Link equally impressive as the Mario and Luigi one.

So, my 'corrected' Zelda poster showed up today. That's nice of them and all, but I'm still kind of irked that apparently these can get corrected, produced, and shipped without much hassle, but I'm looking at close to 2 months of waiting for my replacement poster set.

In the grand scheme of things it's not really a big deal, but still.

Its massed produced ink and paper, what did you expect? Only questin is if they produced really alot of them to make their monetary value completely worthless.

I got mine today too - had no idea it had swappable covers!? And I even opened it up and put my son's loose 3DS games in it and everything. Lemme check this thing out...

Ah, that's why the cover seemed kind of thick and inflexible (since there are 4 covers in it). Well, that's better since I thought it was odd it has such a plain ugly cover but then those cool Zelda things on the inside. I kept the Zelda stuff inside (since each sprite lines up with a game slot which is cool) and then used Mario/Luigi for the front.

Though I like the simple design of the front, tossed the zelda design inside for good measure. For 250 coins I'm happy :applause:

Oh, this sounds good, I really need a case for my 3ds games. I have them in a psp game case now, which is not too bad actually.

I use this to hold my system and games. I really love the folio fits really well in my pocket and holds 2 games too. I really like the case they are giving away but for 250 coins I think I will pass.

Does anyone have a listing of all Third Party 3DS games that have Club Nintendo codes in them?

I know that Tekken Prime 3D, Tales of the Abyss, Mario & Sonic and Sonic Generations do, but I don't know anything beyond that.
