Stupid question but the auction ending at 9:00 PM PST means it will end at 12:00 AM EST, right? Looking at the OP is scrambling my brain.

I don't cancel bids unless there's a mistake on my part. It's stated that these are discs only and don't come with cases and manuals.

There is a mistake on your part, you clearly didn't state that these are disk only well enough if two separate people have to ask you the same question.

No, there's still no mistake, even if two people didn't know. That whole section is disc only, as stated by the section title. Didn't you wonder why there's two PS sections?

What makes you feel this is stated clearly when multiple participants have you told that it wasn't? I did wonder why there was multiple Playstation however it made sense to think that one section is of disk only games and the other has cases. Maybe if your items had easy to find pictures this woildn't have caused some participants of your lowball confusion.

Do you know if they were livejournal pics or photobucket pics? I only put the livejournal pics as links while the photobucket pics were posted for easy viewing. I didn't have any problems viewing either of them.

Sorry, I kept on forgetting to reply back. I was focused on trying to update everything. It takes a little longer to do this on the phone. I can probably include it in my next lowball in a few weeks, along with other Zelda and Club Nintendo posters.

It was the photobucket ones that I personally had an issue with. No biggie, I will be back for the next one and I appreciate the earlier ending time being as I am on the East coast.

 
About the pictures:

Actually I had very much trouble with ALL pictures in this lowball.

Let me explain. For the livejournal links, about 50-75% of the links led to livejournal pages with featured picture panels that were empty, possibly indicating that the links were broken OR that the pictures had already been deleted by either LJ or Conkwe. For the Photobucket links, all led to the appropriate links. However, for both LJ and PB pictures, a lot of them were in the wrong section, leading to a very time consuming process of me hunting for the picture that showed the item I was trying to view at that time.

Also, there were pictures that contained NOTHING in the lowball at all, but a bunch of household junk. Also, some of the pictures were repeated as much as 3 times each.

My thoughts, Conkwe, is that you might have to go ahead and bite the bullet and renumber all items and reorganize all pictures into their proper sections. You may then want to edit the photos to include the item numbers (space permitting, of course).

About the "$5 minimum" section:

Quite honestly, Conkwe, I reported your first post to the moderators when I first saw you mention this section of items. As both MetalMegaGio and MasaTFC noted (And as Masa, Josh1Billion, and Cero5 objected to) it is against the default lowball rules to start items at >$1 as noted in the following quote by dv8mad:

In my opinion you should've just removed the items numbered 30-95 after the first sign of opposition in post #16 of this thread.

About the disk-only argument:

Maybe use colored text to denote the difference between the "disk-only" section and the "potential manual/case" section of future lowballs.

About "questions not answered":

As was noted by Abortion Timecop in post #88 of this thread, the items in the pictures, BUT NOT the list were not included in the lowball. I will admit that I did ask Conkwe about the Catching Fire pin in this picture and if it was in the lowball, but I did so AFTER reading the rules of the lowball and I did so via PM. So 2hott, my advice to you would be to read the entirety of the rules before participating in any future lowballs.

Sorry for the rant, and if it seems like I'm trying to belittle anyone, but I felt compelled to post this out of sure honesty.

 
Replying to The Dark Enforcer (didn't want to quote such a long post):

The household junk was actually part of the lowball. It was when I started adding people's bids that the character limit was reached, thus erasing most of the last section of the post. I fixed it later and moved it onto the second post.

As for the sections, I thought that they were all correct. My format was: section title, spoiler with pics, listed items from pics, repeat spoiler with pics, listed items from pics, repeat again until a new section of items began.

Actually, I forgot that the LJ pics were a hit and miss. Some would work, some wouldn't, and they're all fine on my LJ account. Some links actually aren't correct, so I'll have to edit those.

I told you before in our PMs that I didn't finish with the photos. I was running out of time with writing up the lowball and I wanted this to run for at least a week before the conventions started. So I'd rather have some photos incomplete than to not list the lowball at all. I could take the loss for potential bidders because of no photos, and if someone was really interested in an item, they'd ask for a pic and I'd provide it (like what you did in our PMs). I just didn't want to stress more on the photos because I knew that most of the items wouldn't have bids on them anyway. I tried to do the minimum just to get the lowball started. Even then, I still have about 50+ items that I didn't get to list.

Disc only
Like I said earlier, I didn't have time to fancy up my lowball with color and bold texts like I usually do, nor did I have many characters left to do so. But regardless, reading the text should be enough. Normally, I'd put 'disc only' next to the game, but there was a lot of them, so I made it into a section. I had a title and description for each section. Again, reading should've been enough. But I canceled Spring Roll's bid anyway.

$5 starting bid
It was only MasaTFC that opposed. MetalMegaGio and Cero5 didn't care and Josh1Billion didn't comment. So with two against one, I left it up. And I figured that someone was going to report me regardless of whether I took it down or not, so I decided to just wait until a moderator asked me to take it down. I might as well let someone win these for cheap for the last time before I remove them for the next lowball.

Final notes
These problems shouldn't happen in my next lowball. I should have more time to edit and I can plan ahead to use a computer instead of doing all this on my phone.

Updates to packages

For future lowballs, I'd suggest PMing the people their totals as well as a general post of all of them. I completely forgot about winning stuff and a PM would of helped me.
