I'm pretty sure that selling ripped discs is illegal, which is what these sound like:

- Final Fantasy Chronicles - Chrono Trigger, has writing on disc
- Final Fantasy Chronicles - Final Fantasy IV, has writing on disc

Or it could mean that disc have writing on them with a marker. For example someone wrote their initials or something on the disc.
