Comedy Central's Thanx Give Away Wiikend With Codes
Yah I know.
That is the way to get to your form-well that's what i had to do.
So I do have to re-enter all my information in right?

Now up to Sunday #7
Here are the codes so far, up until today's (Sunday) #7, thought I'd put them all in one post to make it easier for anyone else stopping by for them :)
If you have cookies enabled, whenever you go to the entry form (http://www.thanxgiveaway.com/entry_form.html) it should already be filled in with all of your codes to date.
If you don't have cookies enabled, it might be a good idea to download the CodeKeeper PDF they have and write em all down.

Also, some information to help clarify any confusion people have.
From the rules page:
In rule #1 -
Entrants will need to have these codes in order to enter the Sweepstakes. There will be a new Code every hour and you may enter online one time for each different Code for a total of 12 entries per person per day. There will also be a “Mobile Only” method of entry.
In rule #2 (How to Enter) -
The total number of entries one person may submit during the Promotion Period is limited to forty-nine (49) entries per person, regardless of method of entry. Multiple online entries for any one Code from any one person/email address will void all but the initial entry for that Code. Multiple mail-in entries for any one day from any one person will void all but one mail-in entry for that day.
In rule #5 (Drawings) -
The Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted on or about December 19, 2008, by Promotion Mechanics, Inc. (the “Sweepstakes Administrator”), an independent judging organization, from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Hourly Prizes and the “Mobile Only” prize will be awarded in separate random drawings, conducted on or about December 19, 2008, from among all eligible entries received for each hour of the Promotion Period

Wait, are you on the same computer as when you started?:newbie:

I am sorry CAG Newby I didn't mean to offend anyone. Can someone tell me what the first code was today SUNDAY. I am doing this for my daughter who just had a baby and she could really use some of these prizes.

I think Options is nine. I missed the last commercial break, so I'm not sure. But I'm certain that Christmas came after Traffic.

Edit: I just saw it and Options just came up. I have it as #9 on my list.

There are two number 8 codes. I live in Virginia and saw the code OPTIONS at 7:19 pm ET. Did anyone see the "Christmas one" Is that supposed to be 9?

I have a question; I've actually entered already and submitted Thursdays answers. Can I re-submit my all the answers again for the other days using the same info I gave? God I hope it's not 1 entry per person...

Christmas came up for 6pm EST. Options is the one I saw for this hour(7pm EST).

From what I've seen, if you go back to the site, you should be able to enter in the rest. I don't really know, though. I've been holding on to my codes to enter them all at once for this reason.

can we get a recap on todays codes so far since there has been some confusion? There must be some wonderful comedy central addict out there who would be willing to do this (wink)

Thanks everyone!

Im a bit confused on the number of entries still...even after reading the rules. So once we submit all the codes, we have 49 entries?

so we can win
Believe it or not I think I read that comedy central will actually be posting the code words on their site tomorrow which is BS to people like me who recorded their crappy programs they showed to get the codes. Doesn't that eliminate the purpose of having a contest?

Thanks for all of your help on this thread. Did Comedy Central post all of the codes on their site last year after the weekend was over?

This is probably what you read.

"Watch Comedy Central during Thanxgiveaway Weekend for the unique Codes which will be revealed periodically (approximately every hour) from 11 AM ET to 1 AM ET, November 27 – November 30, 2008. Each Code will be displayed on air only once, and a new Code will be revealed approximately every hour. Codes will also be displayed at http://www.comedycentral.com/thanx from December 1, 2008 through December 7, 2008. Once you have the Code for a specific hour, you may enter the Sweepstakes for that hourly prize."

There is no news about Comedy Central revealing the codes before the deadline. However, this here "Codes will also be displayed at http://www.comedycentral.com/thanx from December 1, 2008 through December 7, 2008.", is very misleading. Comedy Central may be giving their viewers another chance at the codes by re-airing all the episodes on these days.

Also, I still feel like the codes should be in a different order for different people around the U.S. Somebody wanna help me confirm this?
If I read the rules correctly to win a prize(48 codes - 48 prizes) you had to enter each specific code within the hour it was shown so it may not even work to submit the codes after that hour is up.
"Online Entry: access Comedy Central’s website at http://www.comedycentral.com/thanx and follow the instructions for completing and submitting an entry. You may enter the Sweepstakes for multiple hours in a single online entry by including the hourly code word or phrase for each such hour in your entry. Entries must be received by 11:59 PM Eastern Time (“ET”) on December 7, 2008."

Think we're in the clear.

Yeah.. not too sure, but I'd guess to win one of the Wii packages, you would have had to have entered the code on the hour it was aired. I believe they chose a winner for those on the hour, every hour.

The drawing for the car happens after the 48 codes have been aired.

5. DRAWINGS: The Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted on or about December 19, 2008, by Promotion Mechanics, Inc. (the “Sweepstakes Administrator”), an independent judging organization, from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Hourly Prizes and the “Mobile Only” prize will be awarded in separate random drawings, conducted on or about December 19, 2008, from among all eligible entries received for each hour of the Promotion Period (or day as provided on mail-in entries) for the hourly prizes and from among all eligible text message and mail-in entries received for the “Mobile Only” drawing. Winners will be notified by telephone, email and/or postal mail.

They haven't drawn for any of the prizes yet.

I have gone over the rules a few times now and it is still a blur to me. However, the quote that I posted earlier;

"Online Entry: access Comedy Central’s website at http://www.comedycentral.com/thanx and follow the instructions for completing and submitting an entry. You may enter the Sweepstakes for multiple hours in a single online entry by including the hourly code word or phrase for each such hour in your entry. this ensures that entering multiple codes at once will still grant the contestant an eligible drawing, though this might have absolutely nothing to do with the "hourly prizes." Wish we could get some clarifications.
