Gift 2: The first contest he held in this thread, which I won by only completing a single offer, got me 5 points for Free Prize Site. I immediately cashed in those points for a BB gift card, which is one of these (only 5 days between getting verified and actually receiving the gift card, too):

The other gift cards in the photo came off of other sites, with $30 between the 3 cards. I've been really inactive lately, so I haven't been working to greater prize values. $30 wasn't much to complain about, though, for something I merely did during my time-wasting periods between classes.


Gift 3: Came off this recent contest. Once again, I only did one offer to become eligible, and only entered because no one else did it (and he said he didn't mind me trying to "steal" another prize by doing so).

All gifts listed were Virtual Console Games or sponsored items, but he was willing to pay via paypal as an alternative. Maybe these'll serve as a testimonial to help motivate participation in future contests. Even if you don't win the contest, you can still cash out with gift cards, so it's not like you won't earn anything.


Oh, he also earned me approx $15 because he wanted to sign up on another freebie site under my name. I have yet to do a single offer for Cash Lagoon (don't hold it against me, Joel), but the $15 from referral bonuses has already been deposited into my bank.

EDIT: Also, it should be noted that while I held the first contest in this thread, KoA turned out to be on board too, so he paid out for vi3tmix's second gift, but I was also going to give out another prize of $5 or a 500 point VC game but (like this time) no one else entered!
 
Oh yeah! Those bitches at Rewards1 denied my request to purchase a gift card from Best Buy, this time stating that it wasn't allowed, unlike last time when they said that they were having credit card problems and could order it eventually, just not soon. Time to knock their rating down and stop suggesting that site to people...

As far as getting referrals, I don't know. I don't actively ask anyone to sign up under my links outside of this thread and my signature. So I guess I'm just getting really lucky, eh? Either that, or someone else is pimping my referral link out there for me! Haha.
 
Yes a phone is required - But there is no On-Sign up Phone Verification.
It has to be a valid phone though

Thanks for the PM. I'll get back to you once I've thought about it a bit. I'm looking for more referrals still! I got one, he hasn't gone green, but his eMusic trial should be verified in the next 3 days. Going green for no cost, no phone call cancellation and no gimmicks. Couldn't be easier to go green on TraInn sites now that they have the eMusic offer!
 
Well I got my first green and second referral today! I walked the second referral through the eMusic signup, so he should be green by the end of the week! This is going well. Both of these referrals have been personal friends, hopefully I can get some CAG referrals, too!

I went ahead and preordered Guitar Hero On Tour for the DS with the Amazon gift cards I ordered. I'm sitting on about $95 across three sites that I'll probably use to order Wii Fit which my girlfriend wants to play. It's either that or save up for Rock Band, but I'm not convinced I want the gimped Rock Band they're giving Wii owners.

So if you've ever run in to issues with certain offers not loading on your computer for one reason or another (like too many redirects or a refusal to accept cookies) try using a mobile device like an iPod touch or iPhone. I've gotten a lot of offers to load, complete and credit on my iPod that I couldn't get to open on my computer.
