Was going through my old mags and found card that shows the $2 price!!

Current card expires in June, wonder if I should get a new card now or see what happens later.

Sent my $2 check out last week of January, check was cashed Feb 2nd and got my card this past weekend. 2 straight years of edge for $4, can't beat that. Thanks again OP!

Does anyone know if money orders are accepted? I am out of checks. Also, sorry if this has been addressed, but do you need to be or have been a Game Informer subscriber to get the card for $2?

You can send in a money order (I did) and you don't have to be a GI subscriber (I wasn't).

I've used MO's 2 years in a row with a 100% success rate.
 
Can we send cash? Food stamps? Wire transfers? Can we make monthly payments with no interest for 12 months? How about those box tops for education? Cigarettes? Shrute Bucks? Bits of String?

I saved these pics and uploaded them to a photobucket account, so if they're needed again, I got'em. Why isn't this topic sticky'd?

So who has the most current version of the PDF? Are we not supposed to have it uploaded? If so, I would really appreciate someone private messaging it to me.
 
Any way a mod would put it in the OP? I have it if they would. I don't really care to PM it to everyone and his brother.

I just mailed an envelope with a $2 check enclosed...Hopefully I'll be an Edge member in a little over a week...We can hope!

Last time I forked over the money for their card was when Halo released for the PC, I bought it for 20 bucks, and they gave me a card for free. I wasn't complaining.

But yeah, $15 a year for 10% off of used-game purchases is too much for me, $2 I'll fork out.

I'm going to send them a check for $2 and order form, i'll see what happens and post back here. How long usually does it take for them to cash the check and how long for them to send me my card?

Good news, or stupidly funny news...

They took the check and the $2 have been withdrawn from my account. Hell, there's even a little picture of the cashed check on my bank account's transaction page.

It's so cute! I may actually be receiving my GS card this week, just in time to have them reduce the price on the three games I bought in the B2G1, making it well worth my time.
 
Lulz, after the way I milked the overlapping GS (B2G1 and Trade 6, Get 40% trade in bonus credit or 50% with EDGE) deals this weekend, I wouldn't be surprised if they ban my current EDGE card. I might have to order another $2 one :rofl:

Suffice to say I ended up getting (all PS3, used but complete and mint) SFIV, Valkyria Chronicles, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, and (brand new) Resident Evil 5 Collector's Edition all FREE, along with a couple of other fully paid preorders.:bouncy:

I was seriously tempted to keep doing it until I built up enough to get a DSi or better yet, an Resident Evil Elite X360, but figured I had gotten enough.

I doubt you will be seeing one soon if they decide to send it. A check would've been better, that way you would know when they cashed it.

there was another guy who mailed a check about the same time as I did, supposedly they cashed his check. Hopefully they cashed mines as well, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I wanted to take advantage of the tier trade but I may have to just do it without the edge card.
 
I sent my MO in a week ago. Haven't received my card yet, but I'm not surprised by that. I fully expected for it to take 2 to 3 weeks to get my card (assuming that I do get it).

You gotta figure that it'll take a week or so for them just to receive your order. Add to that a few days to process the order and another week for them to mail it back to you. If you still haven't received it in a week then there might be a problem, but for now, I think that you're still within a reasonable timeframe for this order to get filled.

Surprisingly enough, from the time I mailed my card and check, it took them 3 days to cash it. That was two weeks ago, I want my subscription that I paid good money for! :drool:
 
Got my Edge card a couple months ago. Was meaning to post in here about it, but forgot.

Sent the check in December, took about a week for them to cash it, got my card about a week later. Sounds like it varies on the amount of time it takes for them to send it out.

Does look like they jacked the price up to $10 though. A mod should probably update the title. At least it's still a little cheaper than the $15 in store. :/
