I'm so awesome in card battling that I could beat the Red Sox with my battling skills just like the Yankees...wait...that's nothing.
 
I've got such skills I traded a rare Mo Vaughn card for a complete set of 1982 Donruss baseball cards. Now I have a Cal Ripken rookie and he has a Mo Vaughn card
 
I once knocked a flea market dealer, over his table.

He tried taking some of my friends MOX's, and some other rare cards.
I acted like I wasn't with my buddy, and watched from behind his table. When he slid some cards, into his drawer, I rushed him from behind.

Good thing most of these duelers, are skinny, pencil dicked, nerds.

Besides that, I was ranked 3rd, on the Tetra boards, during the FFXI Beta.
 
I've never played Duel Monsters but I have played Yugioh (a while back) so I want it. Please? [-o
 
I also could beat people with pre-constructed magic cards back in the day...I also constructed a All gold deck in magic that actually worked well...I also had an ALL artifact deck that never lost once...I used to be real into card games and I would love to get back into em! Theres my shpiel
 
I can ignite cards and use them to fight the forces of evil.....wait no that is Gambit......ah here we go I use cards to win um tournments while trying to find my kidnapped Dad....watch no that is that one guy from that crappy Yu-Gi-Oh game....finally here we go....I use my l33t card powers to totally OWN3D all of my friends!!!!1!1!!!!1

No wait those are photos of two losers playing Yu-Gi-Oh that I found on a site when I was trying to figure out the story thingy on Yu-Gi-Oh.

In reality I am a person that sucks at all non-casino card games. I tried playing Magic once with a friend but I bombed. Hopefully with the help of CAG I will be able to practice my horrible skills in the comfort of my own home.
 
My card battling skills are nonexistent. I can't play YuGiOh or Magic...the only CCG I've ever learned how to play was the Pokémon one, and that was just because I'd borrowed the GBC game from my friend.

Hell, I can't even play poker...Therefore, I should win the game so that I can win in at least one card game. :D

The only card battling that I've done was in FF 8 or 9, I forgot which one. It's pretty cool but never really have gotten into a game based on it. Would be interesting though.
 
Oh snap I have such mad battling skillz, I mean, every time I lay a card down everyone's all "YAHTZEE!"
 
Well, since I believe in the heart of the cards and want to be a Pokemon Master, I have competed with the likes of Yugi-moto and Ash Ketchum in riveting card battles during which I squashed them both like those grapes got by that grapelady.
 
i was great at pokemon back in the day...ah i remember when ppl lined up at school just to trade pokemon cards w/ me...but i wasnt a collector...ooooooooooooooooo no..collectors are wussies (wont say the other word that rhymes w/ "wussies" or i might get banned, lol) i traded for strategies in my decks...i had like 5 different decks w/ different strategies for winning such as stall, etc.

i also have the pokemon trading card game for gameboy color...i think w/ all that said, that game package would be in good hands w/ me

i can play a mean ass hand of war.........other than that, my skils are non-existant.

i'm just in it for the free stuff...heh
 
i play all cards small or big. best in PSO III. i also play magic, which i stop due to excessive bling bling wasted on them.
 
Besides being whip-smart Banky and Master Chief Banky, I'm also Duel Master Banky. My dueling is better than yours. Damn right, it's better than yours.

I use to be really good at Magic: The Gathering... until I got broke. :( I need this set to become the master at card games.

Most people play magic the gathering with a proven deck method, i played with a deck called 'Black Death' a powerful concoction of all black bordered swamp and artifact cards from beta to foriegn cards. Built for multiplayer games and tweaked for duels this massive deck has lasted me years(i no longer keep up with expansions) without sustaining big losses.
 
Usually I play strip poker with attractive Playboy playmates. It was me and the 5 ladies in a round table. Of course I won and the rest is history...... 8)

My card battling skills are below average. A couple years ago, one of my friends and I were having a card battle, and I threw one with just the right amount of force and with enough of a flick of the wrist that it cut his forehead.

Of course, that was one of the very few times I was on target. While it's easy to throw a card with good force behind it, accuracy is a problem for me.

As far as card battling as in Magic: The Gathering, etc; I played Magic for a very brief period of time and never really did that great because it was too damned expensive to get enough cards with which to make a decent deck. I enjoyed it, though. I probably would have enjoyed it more if it was more affordable.

All ranting aside, I'd imagine I'd do better at a videogame since it wouldn't require running to a store and spending money to update a deck.
 
My skills are so great that I don't even get carded. I was able to buy hundreds of bucks worth of booze without an ID back in the day. :?
 
Throwing my hat into the ring. I used to play Magic way back in the day, before they introduced other theme decks. My Goblin Snowman could take EVERYBODY!

*edit* and what do you know? My entry into this contest was my 800th post!
 
I used the rock the Magic so hard, I couldn't get anyone to play me.

I'll also tromp over anyone in Culdcept.

I had won many a friends card back in the day knocking them over by hurling Sportflix cards at them......
