Holy shit, I'm moving to Tokyo in three weeks!
There's no way I can bring all my stuff with me, so one lucky CAG is going to win 30+ games and a bunch of shwag (E3, TGS, etc.).

Simply post in this thread for a chance to win.
You must post something about Japan, winning my games, or what you would like to see me do (for your amusement) once I am living in Tokyo.

You may post as often as you wish, but that WILL NOT increase your chance of winning. One account/entry per person. You must be over 18 (or have your parents permission upon winning to receive M rated games) and in the continental US to be eligible to win. Winner will be chosen at random. Contest ends on or about 10/24/05.

Why am I moving to Japan?
Mrs. CheapyD got a great job and it requires us to move to Tokyo. Its basically an offer we can't refuse. I will still be able to run CAG from Japan and now I will be able to work on CAG full time. You can also likely expect new additions/features and possibly a new CAG sister website as I become Your Man In Japan.
Fear not! The focus of CAG will always be cheap video games.

I vote for CheapyD going into a toy store and destroying a Lego display dressed in a dinosaur outfit...hey, it would make me laugh...

Thats alot of games! You should sign the t-shirt, that would be pretty funny.

Hopefully you can find cheap deals on imports and ship em back here! I need me some neo-geo games!

Good luck in the Land of the Rising Sun. Take a shot of you enjoying the Tokyo nightlife. I would also like to hear how you feel as you settle in.

Whoa! Way to go CheapyD! (and especially Mrs. Cheapy!)

I sure hope that you can keep up the CAGcasts from Tokyo, espeically since you'll be right in the middle of things there and can fill us in on all the cool new games comming out in Japan.

I would like for you to stalk Hideo Kojima. Like, hide in cardboard boxes in his office, choke out the various Konami employees who spot you, crawl in the air vents, stuff like that.

When you get to Japan you should definatly hook up with one of those cute japanesse girls. Back in the day....I had this one tutor for my japanese class in college....lets just say they love americans.. :) and while you are busy....I will be nice and take all your games off of you so you can have alot more fun.
See I am a nice guy after all..

That's a great opportunity for you CheapD. I just would like to thank you for your contributions to this site, without you I wouldn't have saved so much on my gaming needs. I've been around here for a while now and have gone through all the changes and renovations of the site, hopefully you'll be able to fix it up even more with the time in your hand. Anyways I'm sure you'll be sick and tired of the sushi over there sooner or later.

I should win this one. I read Japanese fluently and will be able to assist you, CheapyD, in translating Japanese games / gaming news for CAG's articles.

Japan has a lot of people.

CheapyD should summon GODZILLA and use him as transportation.

I could go through the rest of my college years before finishing all of those games. And being a filmmaker I would document the life of this site and the man behind it all.

I would like to see cheapy d shove 50 sushi rolls into his mouth at once and walk up to a random japanese person and scream "SHOW ME THE MONEY!" (in japanese of course).... and of course give the games to me :)

I would like to see CheapyD go underwear shopping at the local vending machines. You should also hit one of the huge comic cons once you are settled in.

I want to go to Japan someday. It seems like such an awesome place. I think that America is too...I don't know. Japan just seems much more fun. I love all of the crazy stuff that they have. I love anime. I love video games. I think that the USA, and other countries should act more like Japan. They also have honor (towards elders, etc). America has pretty much thrown all honor out the window with MTV. I could be totally wrong, I just got all this info from watching anime.

Good luck in Tokyo. I hope you know at least some Japanese!

Oh yeah, I sure would like those games.

Japan still gets interesting games that the US never sees. Dammit, I want to buy Ossu! Tatake! Ouendan! without importing it.

Cheapy when you get to Japan I'd like to see you star in a Kung Fu movie! I'd like to see you pull off a full round house kick to Bob Saget's head! Anyway good luck in Japan, and this is a crazy contest.

I would love to win Cheapy's games, they would fit perfectly into my Cheapy shrine I am making. Also, when in Japan, you should create a Giant Katamari and see if it can get to 500m before the King (Mrs.Cheapy) notices...

I remember going to Japan for my honeymoon soon after you had.. so thanks once again for the information!

I only wish I could live in Japan as well :D Have fun!

If you need any help with the site, feel free to ask!

I hear Japan has some good places to get classic cheap video games. :) It'd be nice to win something for once. I doubt it.. But might as well enter. :p

Make sure to bring napkins when you go to Japan -- somehow they're impossible to find over there (so don't order the rib platter).

Damn, I was gonna say beware of Kancho but someone already said that. Still... beware of Kancho!!! Anyway, I hope you learn Japanese because having all those sweet games around me without being able to understand them (being in Germany surrounded by German movies, games and so on was punishment enough, the first German I learned was "nicht in der stadt" [not in the city, from Diablo II].) would drive me... crazier.

Anyway, I would greatly appreciate all your games because then I wouldn't have to buy them. And strangly enough I don't have a single game on your list...

If your movin to Japan, you should take th1 hour flight and visit Seoul sometime. Great place, even got some family out there that could tell you some places to go. Hope your move is a good one.

"You must post something about Japan, winning my games, or what you would like to see me do (for your amusement) once I am living in Tokyo."

These are the qualifications in order to win the things you don't want to take with you to Japan.

First off: "You must post something about Japan..."
Japan is a Island in Eastern Asia. It is one of the most populated countries in the world.

Secondly: "...winning my games..."
Winning your games would be great. I'm on a very fixed income. I'm getting married at the end of this year and need to save my extra money for our honeymoon.

Finally: "...what you would like to see me do (for your amusement) once I am living in Tokyo."
Make a Japanese version of your website. Not in Japanese, but in English and about good deals you find over there. Mostly on all the porn games that you can find everywhere over there.
