I'm new to the whole smartphone and mobile thing.  I recall people would mention things like shopkick, cartwheel, etc in many deals threads.  I mostly stick with bBest Buy for game related purchases.

Can someone familar with these or others give a breakdown on how this works?

Cartwheel is a Target specific app. I believe it can save 5 or 10 percent on purchases.

Amazon Price Check compares prices and if you buy the app using it you can save a percentage.

Here's a list of all the top apps that are for shop and compare, including ShopKick and many others (with descriptions) -

I hope that this helps some my friend and happy holidays. :)

As far as an app that finds deals, I did a quick Google and unless I severely overlooked something this was one of the only ones I could find (and I've never heard of it until now) -

I know around August that Razor Cortex was supposed to be coming out with an app for finding the best game deals but I don't think they released it. They might have for iOS but I didn't see it in Google Play.

Sorry I wasn't of more help in that area, but maybe another CAG can point you in that specific direction.
