Good to hear! I don't even know who's to blame for this. I mean I ordered it FROM B&N, and they charged me, so I kind of think their web site is screwed up, but who knows, could be Gamestop's fault (though still, it's B&N that has it listed on their site...)

I'll take it with me to work tomorrow and if I haven't heard back probably just dump it off after work. Unfortunately I've got a ton of other stuff I'll want to sell soon, but it's not read yet :whistle2:/
 
i feel that BN is more to blame since it's their site, if you check gamestop site they don't even sell a new version of crackdown.

Just a F*cking hassle!!!!!! this makes me one step closer from not making online deals!!!!! bought quick charge kit at deep discount - now it says back ordered!!! - bought dark sector from new egg and the manuel was ripped!!! bought lego star wars complete saga at amazon for $20.00 + tax + shipping then everywhere has it for that price!! then walmart has it for $15.00!!!! Damn it's hard being a CAG!!!!!!!!
 
sorry about you getting charged tax from amazon, that's the biggest appeal to me from them, including free shipping. next time don't bother with amazon if you can't get free shipping or order something else that you want get it over that 25 dollar limit. i've had problems with deep discount taking too long, but they're costumer service was pretty painless and helpful.
 
I received an used copy as well. After contact the customer service through e-mail, the reply was that it says on the page "BUY IT USED" and make it sound like my own fault. Good thing that I saved the page before I contact Gamestop and sure enough the original page I saved says "BUY THIS ITEM" instead. BN and Gamestop changed the web page and try to make it sound like my own fault! Never know they could be so low. Unbelievable. :bomb:
 
I printed out the page too. On the product page it says "buy this item" or whatever, and on the search results page it also said "but it new". It's been changed just recently.

Plus your emails won't say anything about used. THEY screwed up :(
 
I took a picture of the screen with the buy it new on it. don't let them f*ck with you!! see this is the thanks with get for paying are hard earned cash and then getting screwed because some a**hole at the site f*cks up!!!!!! i hate businesses!!!!! esp. Dell!!! and now Barnes and noble!!!!! i give them a big F.U.!!!!!!!!!!!!

i bought xbox 360 elite bundle and marvel alliance game was supposed to be gold edition with 8 additional characters and it was the regular game. Not a huge deal, but still false advertising... But it was the horrible customer service - all foreigners!!!! - they blamed microsoft - microsoft blamed dell... back and forth....for like months..just gave up... just like this deal... I WANT TO GET WHAT I AM PAYING FOR..AND WHAT THEY ARE ADVERTISING!!!!!!!!!! - SOME MUCH FALSE ADVERTISING!!! AND THEN THE BLAME GAME!!! IT"S ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE"S FAULT!!!!!!!! I HATE THIS SH*T!!! I DON'T LIKE SEEING PEOPLE LIKE US GETTING SCREWED BY CORPORATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
