The special orbs give a whole lot to some stats(each is different.) Not sure if there are enough to max you out, but worth a shot. Also, maybe the time trials give stats? not sure though.

edit: oh, and you can co-op in someone elses game to kill for stats.

That's a step up. It makes the game funner, and adds a level of progression to the challenges and overall discovery of the multi-tiered islands.
 
I wasn't planning on getting the game, but I picked it up and am having fun. I played with Cag 79 this afternoon and that was a lot of fun. The only complaint I have is no female character. But hopefully they'll add one in a future download.

My driving skill sucks though. I hate races >.

Don't get me worng, in most ways it is a step up. But it does fele like I've been on level 3 for agility forever.
 
I'm probably late to the party here, but the agency SUV is awesome. I'd just accepted that all the cars suck, but then I gave the SUV a try and I can't get enough. Also, I found a new go-to gun in the Harlington. That thing rips through the gang members like wax paper.

I've got tomorrow off, so if anybody wants to do some co-op, just send me an invite. I'm down for whatever, missions, orb hunting, general mischief, you name it.
 
Oh, yeah. The Harlington is the best gun in the game.

The Longshot is a beast when you have four stars in Firearms, too; one shot kills.
 
Ok, I got 4 stars in everything except for Driving....which still has 2.

Strength I have one dash after the four stars.

Driving is a bitch...I hate doing the missions....and im not good enough that I can easily run over enemies with...

Use the SUV. Driving slow is the key. I went from 3 to 4 stars in 45 mins doing this. Also kill a bunch of bad guys so they send the hit squad after you, then you really rack up the points.

Each Driving skill level adds more to the Agency vehicles, and makes them faster. The Truck Cab one turns into a HUGE 18 wheeler cab at level 4, and the Supercar turns into some sort of batmobile looking thing at level 4

That would be the Agency Supercar. All agency cars morph every level. Once you reach 4 star rating on the Agency Supercar, it will have machine guns and you can shoot while you drive. The SUV will be able to climb buildings and I'm not exactly sure what the big ass rig does, I think its just indestructible and faster.

Thanks for the tip. Ill try that out tomorrow. I played over 9 hours today..

When you clean up a gang, will that gang still appear on the island??

Also, I played a great prank on my one friend. I threw 4 remote mines on a car and told him to quick get in and drive me. As soon as he got in, I blew the whole thing up :D

If you are curious about their final look, maxed out, look at the faded image in the background of the agent selection screen.

I'm at school right now so I am having a hard time finding out: Does this mean you just do time trials for all of the bosses? I beat the game on solo... by myself:roll: and was wondering if I could still get this achievement.

LOVED the ending. I was hoping that was going to be the ending from the get-go.
 
Whats awsome is finding huge ass jumps and having a friend stand on top of your car when you go off the jump and then front flip. The second time though he jumped off the car himself and shot a rocket at me as he was falling. Bastard.

I'm sure this has been known, but I just found out crackdown only has a total of 900 achievement points. Which means there is downloadable content coming in the future as well as new achievements.

Possibly a new gang or/and area on the map?

In a few interviews they said they designed the game with adding an island in mind, so possible. Most likely though, that will be in the +1000 portion of the DLC for achievements.

Look for more "blow up x amount of shit" style achievements to be added for the last 100.
 
I can see them adding a new gang and island, where you get 50 points for getting all the gang leaders intell, then another 50 points for killing all of them. Or as the game puts "cleansing the area."

you could take down the Agency itself
or something like that.

game is hella short, I will probably beat it tonight, if not by tomorrow. I have spent most the time the last 2 days just dinking around.

The devs said that they are going to watch which achievements players go for first, and add some more related to those achievements. I'm hoping it's like 10 ten point achievements or 20 five point achievements. I don't want them to just add 2 or 3 more. Since games can go up to 1250 via DLC now though, I wouldn't mind extra islands.

Just finished the Rooftop races. Didn't take too long; about an hour. Did anyone else not know that you could jump from the agency garage and get up to the agency building?
 
Never did the rooftop races. Took me a while to figure out that the agency garage is the agency building :p

I can NOT put this game down. I just wiped out the Volk. I'm trying to get every achievement I can.. the "kill 200 gang members without dying" was fun.
 
i just got the firefly, i've been running around the city collecting things rather than cleaning up the streets, if anyone wants to co-op add me to your friend's list

I can't get the car juggler for the life of me. I have 3 star explosives and I have heard people do it with only 3 stars. I have tried throwing the car in the air and then shooting it with the firefly, but my missles never hit the car up in the air, they just hit the car and cause it spin downward. I have even climbed to the top of a 4 or 5 story building and threw it off but to no avail. I have also tried planting a few grenades under the car and then shooting it, but I get the same outcome as my first method.

Help?

Help?[/quote]It took me a bunch of tries to do. Getting on top of a semi-high building helps, as does using as small a car as you can find. I planted one of the limpet charges on the car first, then picked it up and looked straight up in the air. Then I jumped up as high as I could and tossed the car high, detonated the charge, then shot as many rockets as I could at it.

It's tough, but definitely do-able.

HMMmmmm... I never thought of planting a charge on it then throwing it. I'll have to try that later. I think I'll go up into the mountains and toss one of those trucks off a high cliff.
